** Also, the students from Colegio Nacional who are a bunch of unpleasant and self-righteous jerks are probably at the receiving end of this. Quintanilla even referred to them as this in his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech after he got humiliated at his farewell party, [[YouAreWhatYouHate accusing them of being just as awful and monstrous as the Avenger is]], and thinking they deserve all the harm inflicted upon by the attacker.

* AssholeVictim: When the hacker exposes Natalia as a thief, as she had previously stolen the money collected for the NONA party to buy expensive bags for herself, all of her classmates turn on and vilify her for her controversial actions, demanding that she give the money back. Quintanilla, the principal, even removes her as president of the student committee and is replaced with her nemesis Rosita, who takes pleasure in mocking her. As everyone starts ignoring Natalia at Raúl's party, she goes into a melodramatic fury after realizing that she posted on her profile a dare in which anyone seen speaking to Natalia will be banned from attending NONA, just before her sister María delivers a blunt TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to her, reminding Natalia that she as well is having a hard time through her situation. [[spoiler:Raúl]], post-hacker reveal, lampshaded this to Sofía, remarking that Natalia "isn't the nice person she seemed to be".

** Sofía's father telling her that "you can love more than one person at the same time" concerning her feelings for both Javier and Raúl. [[spoiler: It is later revealed what he ''actually'' meant by those words when Sofía is heartbroken to learn that he has another daughter. He event tells her that by the time he gets out, he will arrange for his other daughter Sofía to meet each other and someday spend some quality of time together]].

!Examples:

* YoureNotMyFather: Sofía outright says this to Quintanilla, refusing to answer his question on where she's heading to upon noticing her angry over some family stuff her mother intends to get rid of.

* OneDrinkWillKillTheBaby: Pablo actually warns María, who he believes is still pregnant with their baby, about this when he notices her about to drink from a vodka bottle at Rosita's b. This immediately escalates in a heated argument.

** Natalia and Rosita. Both are self-confident and snarky students who held the position of Student President and by extension of NONA's organizer. They're different in their way they treat other characters though. Natalia is more aloof, conflictual, she seems innocent and good-natured due to her light-colored outfits and her HolierThanThou attitude but she's cunning, deceptive and uses her sexuality for her goals while Rosita wears dark-colored clothes and is promiscuous, she is warmer and more cheerful. Concerning their staus as Student President, if Natalia was more concerned to steal money from high school's treasury, Rosita was more focused on organizing the NONA for her and other students.

* BuryYourGays: [[spoiler:Luis, who turns out to be gay, is brutally killed by Gerry, who is ironically gay as well, after the hacker set up a public violent fight at the school. Later on, a funeral and a school ceremony are held for him]].

* ButchLesbian: Alex is a mild example, with short hair and fairly masculine clothing a lot of the time. She's not averse to wearing more feminine clothes though, and is otherwise not stereotypically butch.

* SexMontage: In "New Pleasures", we see seven characters having sex interspersed. Sofia and [[spoiler:Raúl]] have sex a second time. [[spoiler:Alex]] is shown having sex with [[spoiler:Gabi]]. [[spoiler:Gerry]] has his first time with a man, Pipe. Rosita is shown during her threeway with Ernesto and Dario (while in the latter case he [[TheLoinsSleepTonight can't actually perform]]).

* BareYourMidriff: Isabela occasionally wore belly shirts.

** In 1.06, Isabela tells María that she suspects Natalia to be the Honey Bunny after being given a hint and also because Natalia had earlier sold Isabela out to hacker. María, [[spoiler: who ''actually'' is the Honey Bunny]], relays the accusation to Natalia, who outright denies it, stating that she ''isn't'' a 'slut'.

** Season 2 adds Javier being the Archie betwween his BestFriend Sofia (Betty) and former BetaBitch Natalia (Veronica). [[spoiler: In Season 2, he finally chooses Natalia staying friends with Sofia.]]

* AlasPoorVillain: After being expelled and becoming wanted by the police, Season 2 intends to make us feel sorry for Gerry as his life has now become miserable for murdering Luis and spent most of the time regretting it, wishing that things were different if he hadn't been so mean to him. His JerkToNiceGuyPlot is really impressive to the point of making us realize that Gerry deserves a second chance. We are even given a backstory that reveals Gerry's FreudianExcuse, the catalyst of events that led him to become TheBully in the first place.

* JerkToNiceGuyPlot: [[spoiler: Gerry evidently progresses at this by the second season, coming to genuinely regret his mistreatment and murder of Luis, even visiting his tomb and leaving in it his dog tags as a way to apologize for hurting him, even refusing to help Raúl locate the avenger if he brings a gun, as he doesn't want more people to get hurt because of him. Try and imagine the Gerry from season 1 rejecting such suggestion.]]

* TeacherStudentRomance: [[spoiler:Alex]] is desperate to keep her lover's identity secret. This turns out to be because her lover's a teacher.

Season Three has Sofía and her friends teaming up together, after a shocking death they cover up as a suicide, to bring down a new faction of hackers that take over _@allyoursecrets and threaten to tarnish their futures just when they are about to graduate and fulfill their dreams.

* BittersweetEnding: [[spoiler:Sofía finally manages to put an end to the _@allyoursecrets_ faction of hackers, but in the process Luis, Susana and María tragically died, she and her friends are sentenced to do community service over their involvement in Susana's death and Damián is arrested for his secondary role in the crime and to atone for all the other dirty deals done in the past through Javier. Claudia never gets the chance to be with María due to her death and Alex and Gabriela remain broken up for good, while even Rosita breaks up with Darío. Nevertheless, Sofía/Raúl and Javier/Natalia get back together, the fully redeemed Gerry also gets his own happy ending, after refusing to return to his parents, by being legally adopted by Luis' mother and reunites with Pipe and Claudia starts a career in acting]].
