When you think of the word or name Toyota, the one thing that may potentially come to mind aside from the car brand is a woman named Manami. From the very beginnings of her time in Wrestling/AllJapanWomensProWrestling, she began displaying the traits she would be known as a legend for; a dazzling in-ring style which combined mastery of technique with high flying moves such as moonsaults, suicide dives, and top rope diving headbutts. Raising the bar for women's wrestling to unmatched heights in the [=1990s=], this black-clad embodiment of Japanese strength and beauty was often considered to be the women's wrestling equivalent to Ric Flair himself. Outside of her singles career, her biggest successes came from a tag team with a woman who initially was her arch-rival, the tomboyish KickChick Toshiyo Yamada. Towards the end of the 90s, injuries forced her to slow down from the fast-paced style she had become known for, but she continued to wrestle all the way up until 2017, even making sojourns to Mexico and the United States before finally retiring from the ring after over 30 years.\\

When you think of the word or name Toyota, the one thing that may potentially come to mind aside from the car brand is a woman named Manami. From the very beginnings of her time in Wrestling/AllJapanWomensProWrestling, she began displaying the traits she would be known as a legend for; a dazzling in-ring style which combined mastery of technique with high flying moves such as moonsaults, suicide dives, and top rope diving headbutts. Raising the bar for women's wrestling to unmatched heights in the [=1990s=], this black-clad embodiment of Japanese strength and beauty was often considered to be the women's wrestling equivalent to Ric Flair himself. Outside of her singles career, her biggest successes came from a tag team with a woman who initially was her arch-rival, the tomboyish KickChick Toshiyo Yamada. Towards the end of the 90s, injuries forced her to slow down from the fast-paced style she had become known for, but she continued to wrestle all the way up until 2017, even making sojourns to Mexico and the United States before finally retiring from the ring after over 30 years.\\
