VideoGameSettings are generally static, as it's generally much simpler to design levels that remain the same, visually and structurally, as you play through it. Sometimes though, for the sake of visual storytelling, you get a level where it goes through a visual overhaul before your eyes, all without being interrupted via a cutscene -- whether it the sun setting , or a forest that's caught fire and rapidly spreading. Most of the time, it's done via a scripted sequence, but certain genres achieve this trope overtime, typically in tandem with a TimedMission.

''VideoGame/FlowerKnightGirl'' has a lot, and I mean ''a lot'', of characters in its roster. So much so, it seems like a heavy task to cover every single Flower Knight, which wouldn't be so bad if not for a few things: The game is exclusively in Japanese, and the wiki that covers the game is, at the moment, largely focused on the gameplay aspects instead of the dialogue. The most story covered is all Japanese text lifted straight from the game, which can at least allow for some rough translations via Google Translate or [=DeepL=].

And so, most of my work consists of my limited memory of the "official" translation port that has once existed (which is regarded with a lot of scrutiny by fans due to its inconsistent quality), and machine-translating all of the available transcripts of the game (via wiki), which is limited to the Library Introduction, in-game quotes, and Vice-Leader dialogue; no Character Quests, and only a fair amount of special events.

I originally intended to cover each of the Flower Knights one-by-one, adding specific info (Rarity, Attribute, Affection Item/Favorite Gift, and Language of Flowers) and tropes applying to certain girls. But this caused some problems when I inevitably ran up short on finding Tropes that apply to the girls, due to a lack of access to the Character Quest's transcripts (which typically provides some real meat to the characters), along with my knowledge of all existing tropes being similarly limited. So I'm then on limiting myself to covering characters I'm more familiar with and leaving the rest to those who ''do'' have the required info.

And thus this page was made, to cover all the ''FKG'' characters to keep track of who's left to add, or to add a notifiers if a character's section is left undone. If you wish to contribute to '''[[Characters/FlowerKnightGirl this character page]]''', preferably with access to relevant resources (translations of various story and character tidbits), please update the list below accordingly.

'''And as a final important note:''' ''Flower Knight Girl'' is a Japanese harem HGame, which (while having SFW versions that remove the explicit material) naturally requires taking into account both Administrivia/TheContentPolicy and Administrivia/NoLewdnessNoPrudishness when covering it on this wiki, ''especially'' the former.

I originally intended to cover each of the Flower Knights one-by-one, (Rarity, Attribute, Affection Item/Favorite Gift, and Language of Flowers) and tropes applying to the specific Flower Knight. But this caused some problems when I inevitably ran up short on finding Tropes that apply to the girls, due to a lack of access to the Character Quest's transcripts (which typically provides some real meat to the characters), along with my knowledge of all existing tropes being similarly limited. So I'm then on limiting myself to covering characters I'm more familiar with and leave it at that

Forgot to remove these names from the last edit. Also adding a Done affix to some Knights (preemtively for the latter); using this method to keep track of the order.

Will update the page tomorrow to remove the Flower Knights I consider 'done'.

''Flower Knight Girl'' is a Japanese-only gacha HGame developed by [=YourGames=] and [=DMMgames=]. It was release onto the Fanza website in 2015, with it later being published across multiple mobile platforms in 2019.

Spring Garden, an expansive region of various climates, is under the constant invasion of the [[BigCreepyCrawlies pests]], which have threatened the inhabitants livelihood for a century and have destroyed at least one nation. To preserve the peace, tranquility and life of the land, gifted individuals known as Flower Knights have risen to the task of exterminating the pests. And you, the [[PlayerCharacter commander]], have been tasked with training and organizing the recruited Knights for the missions ahead.

'''Editor's Note:''' This page and the associated sub-pages primarily cover the SFW releases of ''Flower Knight Girl''. Any discussion of certain aspects pertaining to the {{NSFW}} version should at worst be avoided to keep in line with Administrivia/TheContentPolicy and Administrivia/NoLewdnessNoPrudishness.

to:

And thus this page was made, to cover all the ''FKG'' characters to keep track of who's left to add, or to add a notifiers if a character's section is left undone. If you wish to contribute to '''[[Characters/FlowerKnightGirl this character page]]''', preferably with access to relevant resources (translations of various story and character tidbits), please update the list below to remove the character names so long as they're considered finished.

'''And as a final important note:'''

Fixing some minor issues.

* {{Maguffin}}: The legendary bouquet in the event story "The Sea, The Bride and The Legend of the Bouquet", which Gazania's been seeking for its matchmaking capabilities to confirm her feelings for her captain.
* MoeAnthropomorthism: The design aspects of the Flower Knights tend to vary in representing their respective flower. Some like Dancing Lady Orchid or Rose are pretty blatant, with the flower's color scheme or just the flower itself being featured in their design. Others are more subtle, using key accessories or patterns to get the image across.

Put up my work for a potential FKG page, to gauge whether or not this'll be allowed (and hopefully include a finished editors note).

!!This game contains the following tropes:
* AlternateRealityEpisode: The "Parallel Academy" special events, depicting multiple Flower Knights living in a [[HighSchoolAU modern school setting.]]
* AprilFoolsDay: Every April 1st features one off sub-events, typically of an off-kilter nature story-wise.
** 2018 included a subgame called Hungry Slug, an IdleGame where you feed a slug pest named Naame[[note]]A play-on of Nae[[/note]] with macaroons, raising an army of pests alongside Nighogg Danchou for the upcoming fight.
** 2019's is Naming! Call My Name~!, where players were tasked with suggesting and voting for a name for a pink water bug. The most voted chosen name was Gengou.
** 2022's is The "Phantom Thief" Nightshade Appears??, where a number of Flower Knights had their important belongings stolen, with the player finding the lost items in various places across the UI to eventually find the true culprit, [[spoiler:[[NotMeThisTime who wasn't Nightshade,]] but a random pest.]]
** 2023's is New Slug-san FINAL WARS ~All the salt and mysteries dissolved~, where a swarm of slug pests and their mutated leader are on the loose, leading the player to find the five stolen salts hidden throughout the menus (and subsequently solve quiz stages) to deal with the threat. Upon reaching the requirements and facing off against the Slug Boss, using the Solar Drive would summon [[spoiler:Nazuna to insta-kill the boss via sprinkling the salt, mimicking the {{memetic|mutation}} Salt Bae image.]]
* ArcNumber: 727, the GoroawaseNumber for Nazuna. July 27th (7/27) is both the birthday of Nazuna and the half anniversary date for ''Flower Knight Girl'', Nazuna's stats are listed as this, and the associated items/stages feature the number.
* BigCreepyCrawlies: The main source of conflict in Spring Garden are swarms of large, mutated insects known as pests that are generally larger than the average Flower Knight. What's worse, there's the aptly named Ancient Threats that are ''far'' larger in scale.
* {{Crossover}}:
** ''Girls Sympthony'', another game by the same publisher, featured a minor collaboration event in March 2017 that gifted Anri (Rue Anemone) in ''FKG'' for getting to level 30 in the former game. A full standard collaboration event would be hosted later down the line, introducing several of its main characters as units.
** For the event number 107X, [[Literature/ThatTimeIGotReincarnatedAsASlime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Flower Knight]], which featured Milim, Shion, Treyni and Shizu as [[GuestFighter guest knights]].
* FloralThemeNaming: Just about every character is named after a flower/plant they're based on.
* FlowerMotifs: Each Flower Knight has their own respective language of flowers which tie into their characterization.
* MysticalLotus: Lotus Lake's World Flower. While the other nation's World Flowers are suggested to be magical in nature, the city's giant lotus has the distinct ability to grant water breathing for the inhabitants below.
* PollutedWasteland: The decayed, ruined nation of Kodaibana, previously thriving with plant life, now an unfertile and desolate landscape [[{{Mordor}} with its wildlife consisting of the hostile pests.]]
* ThePowerOfTheSun: Upon charging the Solar Drive with shine crystals dropped by the attacked enemies, the player can blast the enemy field with a large solar beam summoned from above.
* SmallSecludedWorld: The south-eastern nation of Spring Garden, Lotus Lake, has initially been bordered off from the rest of the region to protect its residence from the generally land-bounded pests. Due to the invasion of the aquatic beetle variants however, the safety of Lotus Lake had been compromised, prompting the queen to call upon other Flower Knights to aid them, later renouncing the segregation law after some convincing.
* WeaponSpecialization: Flower Knights are divided into four attributes, with many having some standard weaponry associated with each type:
** Slice: swords, knives, daggers, and various other bladed weapons.
** Blunt: hammers, punching n' kicking (with or without aiding equipment), and other forms of heavy weaponry.
** Pierce: spears, lances, rapiers, bows, and other ranged weaponry like guns.
** Magic: {{spell book}}s, {{magic staff}}s, {{fantastic firearms}}, and many other possibilities, typically of [[ImprobableWeaponUser an improbable nature]].
