** For several chapters in Act VI, Dark is the only one who ''doesn't'' know that Arial Kuyumaya, his guardian angel, is a near-psychotic EnfantTerrible with a HairTriggerTemper and {{Yandere}} fixation on him, to the extent that she savagely clawed Mizore to pieces in a rage, only failing to kill her because of Ceal's [[{{Biomanipulation}} catalyst mage powers]], and later snuck into Mizore's bedroom to issue death threats and steal her engagement ring right off of her finger; Mizore is determined to ''keep'' it from him, since Arial is his guiding light and he'll effectively shut down without her. Sadly, after a DesignatedGirlFight which leads to Mizore savagely beating Arial into a bloody, unconscious mess right in front of Dark himself, they have no choice ''but'' to tell Dark the AwfulTruth.

* NoHoldsBarredBeatdown: In Act VI chapters 7 and 8, Arial dishes out an absolutely ''savage'' one to Mizore upon finding out that the latter is Dark's girlfriend, using her ice claws to literally tear Mizore apart. By the time she's done, Mizore has been shredded into LudicrousGibs and cannot speak coherently, forcing Ceal to reconstruct her body using the corpse of an [=HDA=] soldier to save her life, and Arial is only stopped from going any further by being knocked out by Razico.

* ShipperOnDeck: In Act VI, Arial openly favors having Felucia marry Dark over Mizore, completely uncaring about the three's feelings on the subject.

** In Act VI chapter 44, after it's revealed just how badly Kokoa injured Sun, Kokoa insists that she never meant for it to happen, whereas Felucia points out that Kokoa's actions beforehand speak differently:

** In Act VI chapter 9, Arial tries to do this to Mizore upon finding out she's Dark's girlfriend, and it's only thanks to [[HealingHands Ceal]] that Mizore survives. In Act VI chapter 11, she outright tries to shoot Mizore in the heart with an ice shard.
** In Act VI chapter 11, Kokoa flies into a rage at Sun, powering up, throwing her down, and trying to kill her with a full power kick solely because [[DisproportionateRetribution she kissed Gin]]. Complica saves Sun, and both Kurumu and Mizore freely admit that they're not surprised Kokoa tried to do it.

** Talon Ryashen, the "Fairy Tale killer." He was turned into a SuperSoldier by Fairy Tale, and is now on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge against ''anyone'' who was ever a part of the organization. It doesn't matter if said members defected, were LockedOutOfTheLoop, or non-combatants; if they were even remotely a part of Fairy Tale, they're on his hit list. Case in point: despite knowing that Dark left Fairy Tale a long time ago and is one of the heroes who slew Alucard, Talon flat-out states that he doesn't care; all that matters is that Dark ''was'' a member of Fairy Tale, and thus is irredeemably evil in his eyes.

** Hothorne Tamaka, the director of the [=HDA=]. Unlike most of the others, he actually ''does'' believe that some monsters can be good and meets with Moka and Akasha in Act VI to negotiate. In chapter 30, he reveals he's been reviewing security tapes of Moka and co. fighting the HDA, noting that they ''only'' [[KillingInSelfDefense killed in self-defense]] in response to the HDA attacking ''them'' first, as well as Moka publicly shaming the HDA for their AggressiveCategorism of monsters, which has convinced him that no, not ''all'' monsters are bad.

* MassOhCrap: The entire gang's reaction in Act III chapter 12 when Moka confesses to them that the Holy Lock on Tsukune's wrist, which had been stated by multiple sources to be completely unbreakable, cracked under the strain of Tsukune's power.

** The original Falla initially feigns trying to redeem herself and becoming friends with Kyouko and Tsukune's posse, all to dupe Luna into finishing the spell to give her her powers back. The minute she works, she [[DidYouActuallyBelieve rubs in their faces]] how stupid they were to think that [[TheFarmerAndTheViper her actions were]] ''[[TheFarmerAndTheViper ever]]'' [[TheFarmerAndTheViper anything more than an act]].

** Hothorne Tamaka, the director of the [=HDA=]. Unlike most of the others, he actually ''does'' believe that some monsters can be good and meets with Moka and Akasha in Act VI to negotiate.

* RefuseToRescueTheDisliked: When they discover Kuyou is coming to Yokai Academy with the intent to get revenge on Tsukune for his previous defeat in Act III, Headmaster Mikogami, alongside Hokuto and Ruby, decide to use it to their advantage; when the other students see Tsukune and co. defeat Kuyou with their own eyes, they'll finally realize that the gang are ''not'' {{Fake Ultimate Hero}}es and stop mistreating them. Nonetheless, the mistreatment from the other students continues to grate on them, especially when it culminates in the girls being blackmailed and nearly raped by [[StalkerWithACrush Kano]]; by the time of chapter 31, Felucia is so sick of the other students' harassment that she tells the others that as far as she's concerned, they have no reason whatsoever to protect them from Kuyou and they should just ''let'' him kill everyone. Mizore shoots that down, saying they're not the "horrible ones" and they won't stoop to their level.

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: In Act IV chapter 19, when Hitomi petrifies Moka, it allows Inner Moka to bypass her seal, break free of the petrifaction, and kick her ass. Downplayed, as there's no way Hitomi could have anticipated that would happen.

* PayEvilUntoEvil: In Act II, Dark's murder of Miyabi Fujisaki is [[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill ridiculously over the top and brutal]], but considering the fact that Miyabi enslaved Mizore's hometown, [[SexualExtortion extorted Mizore for sex in exchange for sparing her mother's life]] [[ILied before ordering Tsurara's execution anyway]], and [[PostRapeTaunt openly gloated about raping Mizore to Tsukune and co.'s faces]], it's hard to feel any sympathy for him; despite being horrified at Dark's brutality, Tsukune and the others unanimously agree that Miyabi [[AssholeVictim deserved every second of it]]. Kurumu sums it up best:

** In Act III chapter 30, one of the bullies actively gropes Felucia in class, smugly gloating that Dark and the others can't do anything to hurt him or they'll all be separated. Dark ends up cracking his desk clutching it too hard and convinces Ms. Nekonome to take the bully in question with him to the supply closet, and allegedly to help him carry the new desk back; while they're out, Dark dupes the bully into groping Apoch, leading Astreal to go BigSisterInstinct on him and send him to the infirmary.
