** During most of Act III, Headmaster Mikogami repeatedly does next to nothing about the various bullies and {{Jerkass}}es who deliberately go out of their way to torment and harass Tsukune and his friends, but punishes Tsukune and co. for simply acting in legitimate self-defense against said bullies and Jerkasses, to the extent that he threatens to separate them if they get into another fight. This, of course, leads to the bullies taking advantage of Mikogami's warning to actively harass them without fear of retribution, eventually leading to Kano blackmailing the girls and nearly raping them; after this, Mikogami, now realizing the masses are targeting Tsukune and co., changes his tune and gives them the right to defend themselves.

** Hokuto, in Act IV. While holding Moka hostage on his airship, he leaves her unbound because, even with his Holy Lock keeping his power in check, he's firmly convinced that Moka poses no threat to him at all.

** The original Falla Cii has shades of this. Intelligent and manipulative? Check; she managed to easily manipulate Kyouko and ultimately trick Tsukune's group, who know from what Falla's [[CainAndAbel good sister]] Luna told them that Falla is a heartless bitch, into thinking she wants to be come a good person. Complete LackOfEmpathy and moral conscience? Check; Falla went so far as to send her own little sister Complica to her death ForTheEvulz, and later outright admitted to Luna and their mother that she viewed Complica as a disgrace to their species and she's ''happy'' that her younger sister is dead. {{Sadist}}ic streak? She gleefully cut off her {{Good Counterpart}}'s wings, arm, and leg, states afterwards that it was "very easy" for her to do so, and relishes the pain of others to the extent that she openly tells her opponents on more than one occasion that [[LovesTheSoundOfScreaming she hopes they scream and beg for mercy before they die]]. On top of it all, she comes right out and says that ''nothing'' matters to her more than herself and power, not even her own family, and goes so far as to ''mock'' Tsukune and co. for ever believing that she would "choose family over power."

* RefuseToRescueTheDisliked: When they discover Kuyou is coming to Yokai Academy with the intent to get revenge on Tsukune for his previous defeat in Act III, Headmaster Mikogami, alongside Hokuto and Ruby, decide to use it to their advantage; when the other students see Tsukune and co. defeat Kuyou with their own eyes, they'll finally realize that the gang are ''not'' {{Fake Ultimate Hero}}es and stop mistreating them. Nonetheless, the mistreatment from the other students continues to grate on them, especially when it culminates in the girls being blackmailed and nearly raped by [[StalkerWithACrush Kano]]; by the time of chapter 31, Felucia is so sick of the other students' harassment that she that she tells the others that as far as she's concerned, they have no reason whatsoever to protect them from Kuyou and they should just ''let'' him kill everyone. Mizore shoots that down, saying they're not the "horrible ones" and they won't stoop to their level.

* ParentalObliviousness: In Act III, Issa was completely oblivious to the fact that Akua and Kahlua had joined Fairy Tale right under his nose, even after they steal the Chrono Displacement spell from his secret archive for the organization's use; said archive was a family secret that ''only'' Issa and his daughters knew about, so there was no other way Fairy Tale could possibly have known about it.

** During most of Act III, Headmaster Mikogami repeatedly does next to nothing about the various bullies and {{Jerkass}}es who deliberately go out of their way to torment and harass Tsukune and his friends, but punishes Tsukune and co. for simply acting in legitimate self-defense against said bullies and Jerkasses, to the extent that he threatens to separate them if they get into another fight. He changes his tune after chapters 29 and 30, after the girls are blackmailed and nearly raped by Kano, who [[ExploitedTrope took advantage]] of Mikogami's warning to do exactly that.

** Neither Moka nor Kokoa know much about their long-lost mother, both of whom disappeared on them when they were little. It can be assumed that Issa has kept the circumstances of their disappearances secret from them, but likely for their own good.

* OddFriendship: Arial Kuyumaya and Complica Cii; the only thing the two really have in common is that they're monster children who averted InfantImmortality, and they have near polar opposite personalities. Complica is a calm and sweet NiceGirl, while Arial is a stubborn and immature JerkWithAHeartOfGold with a HairTriggerTemper that borders on AxCrazy. That being said, the two ''do'' get along very well, with Arial even agreeing to give Mizore a fair chance to prove herself worthy of Dark [[LastRequest because Complica begged her to do so on her deathbed]].

** The original Falla initially feigns trying to redeem herself and becoming friends with Kyouko and Tsukune's posse, all to dupe Luna into finishing the spell to give her her powers back.

* OddFriendship: Arial Kuyumaya and Complica Cii; the only thing the two really have in common is that they're monster children who averted InfantImmortality, and they have near polar opposite personalities. Complica is a calm and sweet NiceGirl, while Arial is a stubborn and immature JerkWithAHeartOfGold with a HairTriggerTemper that borders on AxCrazy.

** Hokuto Kaneshiro. He commits all manner of horrible atrocities purely for the endgame of resurrecting [[EldritchAbomination Alucard]] and watching his destroy all life on Earth, simply because [[PutThemAllOutOfMyMisery he believes that all life is evil, meaningless trash]], and repeatedly declares that all of his actions are for a higher cause.

* ParentalAbandonment: Instead of staying by Issa's side to help raise their children like she did in the manga, Gyokuro Shuzen up and left altogether, abandoning Kahlua and Kokoa shortly after the latter was born to plot her revenge on Akasha.

** When he meets Mizore's mother Tsurara in Act II, Dark promptly offers his life to her in penance for the snow women he killed under orders years before. After a moment, Tsurara decides to let him live.

* PetTheDog: While revenge-driven to the point of entering HeWhoFightsMonsters territory, Talon does have some humanity left. In Act VI, he personally stops Saizo from feeling up Kyouko, and later helps Rin by having Jovian and Jacqueline break the spell Rin had over her memories.
