Then, the Dark Hour, straight from {{Persona 3}}, emerges. Normal people turn into coffins and monsters called Shadows flood the city. To fight these Shadows and learn why they were brought here, the characters must use their new powers of Persona.

Since the game is just getting started, there are actually few enough characters that more character tropes can be listed here without getting ridiculous.

* AxCrazy: The current character roster includes [[FateZero Ryuunosuke Uryuu]], [[{{Batman}} the Joker]], and [[JohnnyTheHomicidalManiac Nny]]. There hadn't been a murder for ten years before the characters came - suffice it to say that it's going to get a lot worse.

* LoveIsInTheAir: The Lovers Arcana event -- until it reversed and made everyone hate each other.

* SummonMagic: Persona.

** Notably [[AvertedTrope averted]] with [[BlazBlue Jin Kisaragi]]. He's taken from the end of Continuum Shit, so he's resistant to Yukianesa's influence. Not that it matters here, of course...
