Heroes die. In the end, the stories of Goku and Vegeta came to an end, leaving the task of defending the earth to their descendants, friends and students.

Alas, it was not enough in the end, and the Earth burned at the hands of the being known only as The Enemy, its defenders dead. What few survivors remained fled, and fled, and fled, until they found a place where they could hide forever. Weaving magic, they took the forms of the inhabitants of the planet, and disappeared from all sight.

* AbusiveParents: Lord Vegeta Vegeta, who verbally and physically abuses his son Jaffur, at one point beating him so much he can't move and refuses to give him medical treatment.

* TripleShifter: Exiles, as part of the [[TheyLookLikeUsNow Masque]], can go without sleep if they desire. Most still choose to do so, with only the Lords making it a habit.

* Cap: Surprisingly, Saiyans and Saiyan hybrids possess an innate Cap, which limits them to a PL of 15 million, with minor individual differences, due to a quirk of their biology. Unlocking Super Saiyan increases that Cap, and mastering it increases the base cap up to 375 million. All of this is due to PoptartProdigy adopting the power level system from ''Fanfic/BringerOfDeath'', claiming that it's easier to keep track of.

* TheClan: Saiyan society is divided between two Clans: Clan Goku, and Clan Vegeta, serving as tribes. These, in turn, are divided into Houses, which serve as dynasties.
* HalfHumanHybrid: All "saiyans" are such now days, though it's noted to be closer to 80% human.

* HalfHumanHybrid: All "saiyans" are such now days, though it's noted to be closed to 80% human.

** IdenticalStranger: Of course, such a relationship is so distant, the resemblance is (confirmed to be) due to blind luck more then anything.

** Seers suffer from this due to the fact that the Sight is regarded as Creepy while in-use, and the fact that almost all Seers are rather antisocial, a result of knowing how conversations will end a week ahead of time.

* OneSteveLimit: Averted, with several characters bearing the same name as a Saiyan/Saiyan-Hybrid from Dragon Ball, with several bearing the same name.

* {{Seers}}: As it turns out, Bardocks [[BlessedWithSuck curse]] affects his entire lineage, though only 1% actually suffer from it. Unlike Bardock, they've managed to learn how to control and utilize it. Kakara is one such case, and is the first Seer to also be a Scion.
* SpiritedCompetitor: Many of the Exiles, on account of their love of fighting. Even the main character gets in on it, despite her hate of violence.
* TransplantedHumans: Humans have somehow ended up a wide-spread species across the galaxy, including on Garenhulders. Where humanity originated from is unknown.
* UndeadTaxExemption: {{Subverted}} on account of most, if not all Saiyans possessing human identities and form. Combined with the [[TripleShifter ability to go without sleep]] and secret farms and industries to support their larger and/or exotic requirements, and the Exiles blend right in.
** However, even then, the {{Masquerade}} is one audit away from being broken, so many Saiyans arrange to be in positions of power, whether through nobility, politics or governmental bureaucracy to help maintain it. Bribery tends patches over most of the remaining issues.

* Cap: Surprisingly, Saiyans and Saiyan hybrids possess an innate Cap, which limits them to a PL of 15 million, with minor individual differences, due to a quirk of their biology. Unlocking Super Saiyan increases that Cap, and mastering it increases the base cap up to 375 million.
** Of course, Super Saiyan itself has a cap on how much power it can grant, of up to 750 million, for a combined PL of 1125 million. Progressing further requires additional transformations.

* BigEaters: The Exiles, being part-Saiyan. They regard a 32-oz steak to be snack-food, put on a stick and all.

* TransplantedHumans: Humans have somehow ended up a wide-spread species across the galaxy, including on Garenhulders. Where humanity originated from is unknown.

* SpiritedCompetitor: Many of the Exiles, on account of their love of fighting. Even the main character gets in on it, despite their hate of violence.

** Seers, notably, are primarily regarded as ''creepy'' and more importantly, tend to be vehemently antisocial and irritable.

* Seers: As it turns out, Bardocks [[BlessedWithSuck curse]] affects his entire lineage, though only 1% actually suffer from it. Unlike Bardock, they've managed to learn how to control and utilize it. Kakara is one such case, and is the first Seer to also be a Scion.
