Van returns to the Wind Colony with the now-named Fiona and Zeke, and gives them a tour of the village. Unfortunately the bandits make their attack on the village, taking Van's sister Maria hostage in exchange for Zeke.

* ButNowIMustGo: Knowing that it's too dangerous to stay in the Wind Colony (in case the bandits decide to attack it again), Van decides to leave with Fiona and Zeke to follow his dreams of becoming a Zoid pilot, and to recover Fiona's memories.
