* {{Bowdlerize}}: When Dark Magician's Mystic Box ability is used to destroy and swap positions with Duke's Yaranzo, the shot of Yaranzo appearing skewered inside of the box whilst the Dark Magician emerges from the second is removed from the dub, and is replaced with footage of Dark Magician entering the Mystic Box, albeit played in reverse to make it appear like he's leaving it. The shot of Yaranzo's arm falling limp from the box is also edited, disintegrating moments later rather than keeping it lingering in-frame.

* ShutUpHannibal: When Yugi starts to doubt his chances against Duke, Joey starts giving him a RousingSpeech telling him not to give up. Duke's cheerleaders get aggressive at him for this, since he is only supposed to bark like a dog, and threaten to get a muzzle, but Joey finally stands up for himself and snaps at the three to shut up and let him talk, scaring the three into staying quiet.

With his Strike Ninja gone and only three monsters standing between Orgoth the Relentless and Yugi's Heart Points, things don't look good for Yugi. Duke closes in for the kill, boosting Orgoth's power further and then destroying Yugi's Thunder Ball. Yami uses his next turn to attack with Mighty Mage, but Duke uses a defense crest to take the hit and defeats the Mage on his next turn. Yami only has one monster left and contemplates surrender.

Joey tells his friend he often got into similar situations at Duelist Kingdom, but he never gave up and that allowed him to turn things around. Yami claims this game is different, but Joey tells him that he can win if he trusts himself. Yami Yugi is encouraged enough to continue the duel. Using a combination of crests, Yugi tries to use Knight of Twin Swords to attack Orgoth six times in a row, but Duke's Yaranzo buffs Orgoth to the point where he can take all of the attacks and return stronger than before. Duke destroys the Knight and attacks Yugi directly, leaving him with only one Heart Point left.

Despite the situation, Yami Yugi smirks--he had just enough room in a zig-zag pattern to summon Dark Magician! Orgoth is taken down, and Duke's attempts to destroy Dark Magician with traps backfire when Yugi uses Magical Hats to hide him. Duke makes his Yaranzo retreat, which is exactly what Yugi planned. He uses Mystic Box to skewer Yaranzo ''and'' switch their places on the map, meaning Dark Magician is one step away from defeating Duke. With one attack, Duke's last Heart Point is depleted and Yugi wins the duel.

Joey cheers and throws off the dog costume, and everyone celebrates that Yami pulled off such a turnaround. Duke is thoroughly humbled, and afterwards, apologizes to Yugi and his friends for how he treated them, and admits that Yugi did have the skill to beat Pegasus fair and square. They forgive him, and Joey, Tristan and Yugi's grandfather admit that Dungeon Dice Monsters is a really cool game. Duke's laptop signals a message. He opens the email, and with a thrill, he sees that Industrial Illusions has sent a production contract after all. This means that his game now has a worldwide market, and all his new friends share his joy with him.
