Several years have passed since Twenty-Fifth Bam and his companions successfully evaded Jahad's forces that were waiting for him to exit the Hell Train at the 44th Floor's final train station. Rising up to C-Rank Regular status, Bam and his companions return to climbing the Tower. Having obtained the second Thorn piece that Rachel was after during the Hell Train journey, Bam had spent some time training with high-Ranker Evankhell in order to become powerful enough to one day face off against Kallavan; a high-Ranker officer in Jahad's army who defeated Bam's previous teacher, Jinsung, and took the latter captive. Bam then reappears on the 52nd Floor at FUG Slayer Baylord Yama's home known as the Cage; a fortress airship where Yama rules over a faction of canine people. Bam's overall goal being to begin cleaning up FUG, and to recruit Yama into helping rescue Jinsung. The rescue also has Bam and Karaka teaming up since Jinsung was the FUG mentor for them both.
