* ArtisticLicenseBiology: The given explanation for Elmyra’s inability to register pain as fast as normal people is her brain is divided into two regions like dinosaurs and other simple minded creatures. Granted it’s meant as a joke but the problem is humans brains do have two hemispheres for different brain functions. A likelier case would be her brain is similar to a koala’s, smooth and unridged.

The thirty-fourth episode of the first season of ''WesternAnimation/TinyToonAdventures''.

Buster and Babs act as hosts of a wildlife show. Between each segment, they describe how "dangerous" Elmyra is.

'''Short One:''' "Turtle Hurdle"

Tyrone the Turtle has just escaped from Elmyra's house. He has to cross a newly-built yet busy highway to get to his pond, and is teased by Michigan J. Frog in the process. At the end, Tyrone finally returns to the pond, and Elmyra takes Michigan home.

'''Short Two:''' "Drooley Davey"

Elmyra (who is clearly too young and stupid to be a proper babysitter) has to babysit a salivating baby who dislikes being with her.

'''Short Three:''' "Go Fetch"

Elmyra plays fetch with Barky Marky, and throws the ball in places that land Barky in bad predicaments.

!! This episode provides examples of:

''Overall:''

* CreditsGag: Guy with really red face - Kent Butterworth.
* ShoutOut: This episode's title is a reference to Creator/{{ABC}}'s ''Series/WideWorldOfSports''.
* StockYuck: In the third wraparound, Buster feeds some wild animals vegetables.
-->'''Buster:''' Like it or not, everyone has to eat his vegetables.
* ThreeShorts

''Turtle Hurdle:''

* ADayInTheLimelight: For Tyrone the Turtle, the JuniorCounterpart of Cecil Tortoise.
* DontTryThisAtHome: After Elmyra gets flattened by two trucks that pass between her while running into the highway to try to save Tyrone, Buster interrupts the short to warn the viewers not to attempt what she just did.
-->'''Buster:''' Hi kids! I just have one thing to say. Please, please PLEASE don't ever ever EVER get out of a car and cross a busy highway or street!
* LaserGuidedKarma: Having spent the entirety of the short taunting Tyrone, Michigan ends up becoming Elmyra's pet.
* ShoutOut: Michigan hopping across the busy highway to Tyrone's pond is a reference to the 1981 arcade game, ''VideoGame/{{Frogger}}''.
* SquashedFlat: When Elmyra asks her dad to stop the car so she can save Tyrone, she runs out into the highway and gets flattened by two trucks that pass between her.
* ThrowTheDogABone: The short ends with Tyrone successfully making it back home to his pond when Elmyra shows more interest in Michigan.
* TookALevelInJerkass: While Michigan has never been a particularly nice or cooperative amphibian, he takes it to extremes where he outright mocks Tyrone, who is having trouble crossing the busy highway.

''Drooley Davey:''

* AdultsAreUseless: Davey's parents are completely oblivious to their son being scared by Elmyra's presence and pass it off as him being excited to see her. It doesn't help that they ask her to babysit him again the next night.
* BabysitterFromHell: Davey certainly sees Elmyra as this. Considering that Elmyra is clearly too young and stupid to be a proper babysitter, his parents are oblivious to him being scared by Elmyra's presence, and she tries to feed him extremely hot milk, it's not hard to see why.
* BabysittingEpisode: Elmyra babysits Davey in this episode.
* DisabilityImmunity: When Elmyra warms Davey's bottle to eight million degrees, she is not immediately affected by the hot bottle, because as Buster and Babs explain to the viewers, it takes longer for pain sensations to reach Elmyra's brain than those of more intelligent life forms. The pain does eventually reach her brain when she follows Davey into his bedroom.
* EvilDetectingBaby: While Elmyra isn't evil per se, Davey is still scared by her presence, and considering the way she treats him throughout the short, it isn't hard to see why.
* TheFaceless: Davey's Parents.
* FloatingInABubble: Davey does this the first time Elmyra tries to give him a bath, thanks to the tub overflowing with soap bubbles. When the bubble pops, he lands in the chimney and gets covered in soot, forcing Elmyra to give him another bath.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Upon hearing that Elmyra volunteered to babysit him the next night, Davey packs his bags, says, "I Quit!" to his parents in a gruff voice, and runs away.
* ShoutOut: Drooley Davey closely resembles Baby Herman from the 1988 Disney/Spielberg film, ''Film/WhoFramedRogerRabbit''. He also acts in a similar way at the end of the short.
* SuddenlyVoiced: Throughout the episode, Davey acts like a real baby (with his noises being provided by Creator/KathSoucie). At the end of the short, Davey says, "I quit!" to his parents in a gruff voice when he hears that Elmyra is going to babysit him again the next night.

''Go Fetch:''

* ButtMonkey: Barky Marky. While trying to fetch his ball, he gets run over by Montana Max,
* ConstructionZoneCalamity: When Barky tries to get his ball back from a construction site, he gets lifted by a crane and dropped into a cement mixer, which pours him into a mortar, where he gets run over by a steamroller.
* ADayInTheLimelight: For Barky Marky, the JuniorCounterpart of Marc Antony.
* TheDogBitesBack: Having spent the entirety of the cartoon being put in bad predicaments trying to get his ball back from where Elmyra tossed it, towards the end of the short, Barky takes a tennis ball machine from the Acme Acres Tennis Club and chases Elmyra with it (which had malfunctioned and attacked him moments earlier when he tried to retrieve his ball).
* RuleOfThree: Elmyra tosses Barky's ball into three places that land him in bad predicaments; The first is a slide, where Montana Max runs over him while climbing up the ladder. The second is a construction site, where he gets run over by a steamroller, and the third is the Acme Acres Tennis Club, where he gets attacked by a tennis ball machine.
* SquashedFlat: Barky gets run over by a steamroller while trying to get his ball back from a construction site.
* WetCementGag: At one point, Elmyra tosses Barky's ball into a construction site, where it lands in wet cement. A crane lifts him, then drops him into a cement mixer, which pours him into a mortar, where he gets run over by a steamroller. The cement dries as Barky tries to get out of the mortar.
