* WritersCannotDoMath: Lori does three trips from Great Lakes City to Royal Woods and back before sunset. It's been established that Great Lakes City and Royal Woods are three hours away from each other, so round trips are around six hours, and the sun is only up for 12 hours in fall. Could be justified depending on how fast Lori was going, but it's still unlikely since her car is a [[TheAllegedCar rather old, crappy model]].

* CallBack: Buzz from "Haunted House Call" returns, with Lucy mentioning how she had summoned him before.
* ChekhovsGun: Rosa's horchata, the final version of which contains an ingredient that can instantly kill zombies.
* FluffyTamer: Lana is able to tame the Street Cats of Great Lakes City, as well as a few tarantulas.
* HereWeGoAgain: In the end, Lucy has accidentally left her spellbook behind, and Carl begins to cast a spell involving witches, much to the Casagrandes' protests.
* KillItWithWater: Make that "Kill It With Horchatas". The final version of Rosa's horchata contains an ingredient that instantly kills zombies, so the Louds and Casagrandes proceed to use squirt guns to fire the horchata on the zombies.
* RunningGag: Rosa constantly spoonfeeding characters her horchata, and when they say how delicious it is, she says she has to add more oomph to it.
* SureLetsGoWithThat: Lori assumes that the zombie attack was Bobby's idea, just so he could save her. He decides to go with that.
