Paige gets baptized, which she feels good about, but Elizabeth and Philip still feel uncomfortable about. Philip, who still doesn't want Paige to be recruited for the Centre, tells Paige to stick up for herself, but Paige doesn't get the message he's trying to convey, and thinks he's just trying to talk her out of being involved with the church. She also tells Elizabeth how she feels about praying, which she says calms her. Gabriel tells Elizabeth it's time to get serious about recruiting Paige, and Elizabeth starts to open up with Paige about how she used to be involved with the UsefulNotes/CivilRightsMovement to prove she shares Paige's ideals.
