It doesn't come up later, either.

* ControlFreak: This is Westerland's big problem and FatalFlaw. Hannibal explicitly calls him out for it, reminding him that The Bells can't mean anything to him when he's already a billionaire. He responds that he wants them simply ''because they're his'' and [[IfICantHaveYou if he can't have them, then nobody can]]. He tries to get away with just that and one final challenge to Hannibal as a WorthyOpponent, and when Hannibal refuses, Westerland completely loses his cool and orders his highly-trained soldiers for hire to LeaveHimToMe, which results in Westerland getting caught with the rest instead of escaping at the end.

* EveryManHasHisPrice: Westerland seems to think so, and he offers to buy Hannibal off with a million dollars in cash. Face clearly gives it a thought, but Hannibal coolly informs him that being a fugitive means there's not many things he can really spend money on, and if he ever wanted a million dollars he'd "sit down and figure out how to rip off one of your banks and have the money by nightfall."

* InsultBackfire: When Westerland calls to say he's got Billy, Hannibal calls this behavior lower than before. Westerland answers that he's so low he could walk under an alligator's stomach.

--> '''Hannibal:''' You're worth billions. What do you care about this little singing group? What possible difference can it make to you?\\
'''Westerland:''' Well, sir, the way I got to be worth all this money is I never let anybody take nothing away from me. I am a collector, sir. And [[TheDeterminator I always win no matter the obstacle]].

!!This episode include examples of the following tropes:
* AlliterativeName: Hannibal goes by the name Danny Diamond as the Bells' new manager.
* BookEnds: The episode begins with Face and B.A. coaching a football team for a big game, and ends as the team is playing the game.
* BrokenPedestal: Murdock, after hero-worshipping B.A. for most of the episode, goes back to normal after B.A. fails to give a mid-game pep talk to the football team.
* CryIntoChest: When Westerland calls to say he has Billy, Charlotte leans into Hannibal's chest as he concludes the conversation. The next shot, she's sobbing while leaning on B.A.
* DescriptionCut: An audible example; Murdock is going on about how B.A. is capable of inspiring noble thoughts in others; at that moment, B.A. yells to the football players he and Face are coaching to "Kill the suckers!"
* GroupHug: The other members of the Bells crowd around Charlotte to hug her after arriving.
* HeroWorshipper: Murdock's eccentricity of the week is intense admiration of everything B.A. does. This works out with them getting along better than usual for some of the episode, with B.A. even telling Face to leave him alone.
* IHaveYourWife: Westerland kidnaps Charlotte's brother Billy as leverage to get the Bells to sign the record contract.
* IShallTauntYou: Hannibal purposely irritates Westerland and spray-paints his shirt to get him to go after them personally, so that he will get caught along with his men.
* ItsAllMyFault: Charlotte blames herself for Billy being kidnapped, because she snuck out to visit him one night.
* SeriesContinuityError: Hannibal reminds the other three of the rule that the A-Team has against being romantically involved with clients, which, in all the times the team has encountered a female client, has never been mentioned before.
