Word Cruft; an example should not have to compare against other works to make a point.

* BoobyTrap: Adobentchi accidentally sets off three booby traps in the temple portion of the area beneath the castle. The first drops what looks like a washtub on him, the second is a trip rope that makes him stumble into a trap door, and the third sends a boulder rolling at him and the rest of the gang, similar to ''Film/RaidersOfTheLostArk''.

I don't this fits the definition of a macguffin.

* MineralMacguffin: The Crystal Crown. Not only does it literally have the word "crystal" in its name, it's in a cave system that happens to have lots of crystals growing in it.

The Gotchi King has come down with a sickness that makes him hot to the touch and gives him strange flower-like designs on his shell. Mametchi and his friends get help from the Gotchi King's old pal Adobentchi to explore the caves of his castle and find the Crystal Crown, which can cure the illness.

----
!!This episode contains the following tropes:
* CrystalLandscape: The caves under the Gotchi King's castle have quite a few crystals in them.
* MineralMacguffin: The Crystal Crown. Not only does it literally have the word "crystal" in its name, it's in a cave system that happens to have lots of crystals growing in it.
* RiddleOfTheSphinx: Sphinquiztchi asks the riddle "What has four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening?" to Mametchi and his gang. Mametchi very nearly answers a Tamagotchi before remembering that not all Tamagotchis have legs and changes his answer to a human.
* RiddlingSphinx: One named Sphinquiztchi is in the underground temples below the Gotchi King's castle. He looks somewhat like Kuchipatchi.
* SickEpisode: The Gotchi King getting a boiling-egg illness is what triggers the plot of the episode.
* SwissArmyTears: When the gang finally makes it to the cave that is supposed to contain the Crystal Crown, they notice it's not there. Princess Tamahiko sheds a SingleTear that falls into the lake below her, which magically causes the Crown to appear.
* VerbalTic: Adobentchi ends his sentences with "-bencha".
