* NiceJobFixingItVillain: On somewhat more optimistic note, the Supercommandos wiping out the Protectors also fuels Rau's HeelFaceTurn to the Rebellion, which also leads to him becoming TheMentor to Sabine as her Mandalorian adviser. Saxon admitting that he probably would have killed them regardless takes some of the heat off the Rebels.

* SeamlessSpontaneousLie: Ezra switches one plausible lie to the next with barely any hesitation, keeping up the pretense of a smuggler in over his head in every beat. Saxon doesn't fall for it but that seems to be less due to Ezra's lack of skill and more due to the fact that the only thing Saxon wants to hear is that he's found a Rebel operative, whether it's the truth or not.

* DramaPreservingHandicap: For some reason or another, whether it's him hiding his abilities or going along with Sabine's plan to escape or blocking fire while holding onto Sabine, Ezra almost never gets a direct fight with the Supercommandos. Given how easily Jedi were able to take out lone Mandalorians in ''TCW'' and the fact that the one direct fight he gets is over in ten seconds (and he isn't even trying to fight the guy, just damage his jetpack so he crashes), it's understandable why.
