With the help of a DOT-23 droid, Lt. Owosekun places a kind of bomb in Discovery's starboard nacelle and gets the ship to drop out of warp.
After much fighting and shooting, Book (Creator/DavidAjala) is able to get rid of Zareh (Creator/JakeWeber), and Commnader Burnham wrests control of Discovery from Osyraa (Creator/JanetKidder).
Meanwhile, on the dilithium planet in the Varubbin nebula, Captain Saru convinces Su'Kal (Creator/BillIrwin) to finally end the holodeck program and confronts his mother's death. With the holodeck program shut down, there is no longer an avatar for Gray Tal (Creator/IanAlexander). Dr. Culber promises Gray a solution.
