Added DiffLines:

* RageBreakingPoint: The interview is this for the Forgers and Henry. As the interview progresses, Murdoch's questioning becomes more personal and scathing, with him eventually getting under Yor's skin by implying she's a bad wife, because her husband performs most of the household chores including the cooking, to the point she's getting ready to pounce on him. Loid manages to keep his cool for a bit longer, but when Murdoch asks Anya if she loves her new stepmother (Yor) more than her late mother, Anya starts to cry when she realizes she's never had a mother, which finally causes Loid to snap and takes a swing at Murdoch, but smashes a coffee table in front of the interviewers. After Loid apologizes for [[BlatantLies the outburst just for killing a mosquito]], he finishes the interview and the Forgers storm out of the office, with Loid saying they will not send their daughter to a school run such toxic administrators. When Henry asks Murdoch if he went overboard with the questioning, Murdoch threatens Henry by bragging about how [[ScrewTheRulesIHaveConnections his family is still influential within the school's leadership]], which cause Henry to realize that as an educator his top concerns should be the well being and education of his students, not kissing up to the financial and political elites, [[ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules which causes him to lose his temper and, elegantly, punch out Murdoch for acting like an arrogant ass]].

It is interview day at Eden Academy, and the Forgers are but one of many families present to prove their child is worthy of attending. Unknown to most (but not the Forgers), the Academy's teachers are keeping watch on the people as they enter: the entrance itself is a secret test to see how the families act outside the interview.

Among the teachers stands out Henry Henderson, one of Eden's three Housemasters, and great believer in keeping the Academy's high standards. His eye catches the Forgers as they salute the Academy's founder's statue, and keeps looking as they encounter one of the tests: a student getting stuck in a pool of mud. When Loid quickly pulls the student out and stains his, Yor's and Anya's clothes with mud, Mr. Henderson moves to dismiss them, only for the Folgers to quickly put on new clothes, much to the Housemaster's shock.

Suddenly, the school's farm animals show at the entrance in stampede. Mr. Henderson wonders who approved this test, only to learn that it is a genuine accident. When another child trips and falls, Yor quickly stops the animal in the lead by attacking its pressure points, and Loid helps her keep the animal under control, although both of them get their clothes ripped. Mr. Henderson appears to apologize and suggests them to go home, change their clothes, and return - only for them to pull out a third set of clothing, baffling Mr. Henderson.

Soon enough, it is time for the interview. Loid, Yor, and Anya answer the questions asked as best as they can, only to run into an obstacle: Murdoch Swan, one of the interviewers, is a nasty, misogynistic man who is envious of the Forgers' happiness as a family, and takes out that envy on Anya by verbally bullying her. When Swan asks Anya if she prefers Yor or her birth mother, Anya breaks down crying as she realizes she's never had a mother before. While Yor attempts to console Anya, Loid tries to remain calm by reminding himself that he's doing it for the mission, but eventually he reaches his limit and throws a punch at Swan...

... only to redirect it to crush a mosquito, caving the table. Angry, Loid ends the interview, telling the teachers that, if Swan's behavior towards Anya is normal, then he'd rather not have Anya attend the Academy. Mr. Henderson, realizing the truth of the statement, turns to Swan and punches him.

Back at home, Loid feels miserable, certain that they have failed the interview, but Yor and Anya reassure him that they won't know until they receive the news.
!!This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
* BullyingADragon: Swan should have known about the Forgers dealing with the animal stampede, yet he has no problem in taunting the family over their perceived troubles.

* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: Loid walks out after Murdoch belittles Anya. Of course, Henry also feels Murdoch overstepped and swiftly punches him for shooing out the Forger family.
* SecretTestOfCharacter: The walk to the interview is meant to provide such a thing. The Forgers manage to pass the test just by being prepared for those tests. The extent of how prepared they were scares Henry.

* NiceMeanAndInBetween:
The Forgers manage to pass three Housemasters interviewing the test just by Forgers. Walter Evance is the Nice (he is the most pleasant and Loid notes students trust him), Henry Henderson is the In Between (he is strict, prim, and proper, but he is morally upright and respectful) and Murdoch Swan is the Mean (he is a nasty man who takes out his personal life frustrations on the families, particularly those that look happy).
* ScrewTheMoneyIHaveRules: After Murdoch brags about how his father was the former headmaster and his family's still influential within the school's leadership, Henry decides that if he's going to call himself an educator, his primary focus needs to be on educating his students, instead of kissing up to the political and financial elite, and punches out Murdoch for
