The Final Request Foundation, a lawyer friendly knockoff of the Make-A-Wish foundation, has granted the final request of Griffin, a wheelchair bound boy with a terminal disease to see Sealab. Murphy freaks out when he hears, thinking that Griff carries the black plague, while Sparks plans on harvesting his organs to sell on the black market. Upon arriving at Sealab, Griff is paired up with an orphan named Oliver to be his 'special Sealab buddy'.
Unbeknownst to everyone, not only are Griff and Oliver from the same orphanage, Griff's not even sick-he's actually a con artist who's bilking the Final Request Foundation to get free trips to cool locations such as the Justice League, and he came specifically to Sealab to use their computers to transfer the foundation's funds into his untraceable Swiss bank account.
While Sparks makes offers to his contacts, Marco decides to plan a pizza party for Griff. At the surface, a Final Request accountant, Brock, has arrived to assassinate Griff for swindling the foundation. Murphy finds out that Griff's faking his illness and grifting the foundation, and blackmails Griff into letting him drag his wheelchair with the Murphmobile.
As Griff and Oliver go diving, Brock confronts them. Griff uses telekinetic powers he learned from Aquaman to summon a moray eel to distract Brock long enough to pin his leg under some rocks. Oliver uses Brock's spear gun to trigger a rockslide to kill Brock. As Griff asks Oliver to help fake his death, a shark bites him and drags him away to be eaten.
Oliver tells the crew that Griff is dead. Marco is mournful, Sparks is angry because there are no organs left to sell, and Murphy's just disappointed cause he was looking forward to the pizza party. They decide to hold it anyway.
