* AscendedFridgeHorror: The Alpha Foundation realizes the main flaw of TheEarthPrimeTheory as a trope, namely that without additional in-universe logic to justify it, ''every'' universe has a stake to say they are the main timeline. This, in turn, exposes a flaw in Project Palisade: all of its mirror timelines have an equal chance of declaring themselves the main timeline, discovering THE WORM on their own, starting a new Project Palisade, and branding their neighbors ''their'' mirror timelines. As the Alpha Foundation's universe is set 6000 years after the original canon and thus makes them aware of how meaningless THE WORM is in its realm of origin, they ultimately decide to terminate their narrative stack's Project Palisade before bombarding THE WORM with a lethal surge of narrative weaponry. The 41st century-era Foundation observing the Alpha Foundation's antics wisely decides to pull the plug on their Project Palisade after this.

* DistantSequel: The article's FramingDevice takes place 2000 years after a version of Project Palisade, and the Alpha Foundation itself is set 6000 years after the canon.

Added DiffLines:

* TheEarthPrimeTheory: Deconstructed; the Alpha Foundation finds out that ''every'' alternate universe ends up believing themselves to be the original after some time, which chafes with the whole point of Project Palisade by rendering it a ShaggyDogStory (if every timeline can make a claim that it is the original, what even is the point of Palisade if there isn't a plot to kill THE WORM?) As their universe has a slightly-better claim to the position (given that they have conceptual ties to the idea of being the first) and capable narrative weapons [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim they've been sitting on for too long]], they ultimately elect to proverbially take THE WORM out back and nuke it from orbit.

* FramingDevice: SCP-CN-2758-1 itself is used to fetch various documents from the Alpha Foundation's timeline, which tells the real story of their endgame plot to destroy all pataphysical threats, including the authors.

* FaceDeathWithDignity: [[spoiler:The pseudo-author is surprisingly calm at the realization that Longinus has in fact managed to fatally wound him; all he does is apologize in the same tone as the rest of the conversation and tell Su to follow their path]].

Added DiffLines:

* RageAgainstTheAuthor: The Alpha Foundation turns out to be plotting to subjugate or kill the authors once and for all. In other words, SCP-001-SWN and Protocol ZK-001 Alpha if it were a multi-part sci-fi thriller.
