At E Corp, Price asks Colby for a favor to help in swaying the United States from voting against China's annexation of the Congo. Colby agrees, but is bemused by Price's request, saying that such a thing is "out there" even for him. As he leaves, Colby asks Price how he has such reach around the globe and why he does what he does. Price states that he must be the most powerful individual in any room, and anything less is irrelevant.

Joanna meets with Elliot outside of his apartment, and takes him back to her home. Joanna asks Elliot to trace the phone calls she has been receiving, as Sutherland's efforts turned up fruitless. She goes on to add that Tyrell is the one who is contacting her, which puzzles Elliot. Mr. Robot suggests that Elliot get out of there lest he risk his life by divulging the truth about Tyrell. Elliot refuses, only for Joanna to physically intimidate him into cooperating.

Cisco and Darlene stare at a critically injured Vincent, whom Cisco found in Susan Jacob's house. Realizing that Vincent is near-death, Cisco opts to take him to a hospital, but Darlene refuses under the fear that Vincent will knowingly or unknowingly rat her out. Cisco brutally chides Darlene about her incompetency as a leader, saying that she cannot let Vincent die.
