* AllYourPowersCombined: To defeat Kwamibuster, Marinette seizes all the available Miraculous and their kwamis. However, she only activates a few of them, namely the Mouse, Fox, Ladybug and Cat.

* ClippedWingAngel: While wearing multiple Miraculous grants the wielder access to a variety of abilities, it also appears to take a massive strain on the body. Marinette gets around it by using Multimouse's powers to split herself into several copies so she's not wearing more than two at a time, and using the kwamis as transport so she doesn't wear herself out getting there, but even so she can barely walk.

* NewRulesAsThePlotDemands: It has never been mentioned before this episode that the main characters will have to give up their Miraculous if they learn each other's secret identities.

* {{Glamour}}: This episode demonstrates again that miraculous change appearance based on their wielders. Every one Marinette puts on changes when she wears them.

Determined to prove the existence of kwamis, Ms. Medndeleiev is akumatized into Kwamibuster.

* PlotHole: It has never been mentioned before this episode that the main characters will have to give up their Miraculous if they learn each other's secret identities.

Ladybug knows full well that Cat Noir already knows the identity of Pegasus, that Rena Rouge and Carapace know each other's secret identities, and that Adrien knows the identity of Viperion, but none of them have been benched. And while they ''did'' get benched for unrelated reasons, she freely admitted to Cat Noir that she was giving the snake Miraculous to Adrien, and in a future episode[[note]]they were aired out-of-order[[/note]] does the same with the dragon Miraculous for Kagami. On top of that, though ultimately she decided to stop, Marinette allowed Chloé to work as Queen Bee for multiple missions despite ''her'' identity being known to all of Paris.
