* AnalogyBackfire: Averted, actually, when X gives a story about reality being an elephant and vampire clans being bats feeding on it. It's actually a variation on a Buddhist proverb on the nature of religion versus truth (which uses blind monks instead of elephants). [[TheCuckoolanderWasRight Victor, of all people, states that the metaphor is entirely accurate and it's a fairly good summary of how the vampire clans operate.]]
