Things are looking grim. During the battle with Tornado and Heart, Kiriko was kidnapped by Tornado. Before they can pursue, Drive and Mach are betrayed by Banno, who has revealed his true colors and attacked them with the Ridebooster. Furthermore, he has stolen Mr. Belt with the aid of 004. With the abducted Mr. Belt and information gained from the Drive Pit, he plans to gain a new, more powerful body. Gou is helping the injured Shinnosuke, Heart arrives and describes Banno as the worst monster he'd ever met (much to Gou's outrage).
Heart goes on to describe how Banno deliberately made him (as Roidmude 002) adopt the form of a man Banno had a grudge against, simply so Banno could live out his pathetic revenge fantasies. Krim, walking in on this, was furious and declared his friendship and partnership with Banno over. Heart then describes how Banno deliberately uploaded negative human emotions into the other Roidmudes. The revelation is too much for Gou, who collapses in tears. Unable to rouse Gou to action, Shinnosuke goes off in pursuit of Banno and Mr. Belt.
Meanwhile, Chase pursues Tornado in an attempt to rescue Kiriko, but the Roidmude is able to escape. Shinnosuke is able to recover Mr. Belt, but is horrified to discover Banno has built a second Drive Belt and has uploaded his consciousness into it. Banno withdraws with 004 while Shinnosuke returns to the SCU to focus on saving Kiriko.
Thanks to Kyuu's efforts, the SCU are able to narrow down likely locations where Tornado has taken Kiriko. Tornado, enraged that Drive has interfered with his plan to ascend to Ultimate Evolution, has Drive on the ropes until Mach and Chase arrive. The three Rider successfully destroy Tornado after a vicious battle.
After the battle, Gou opts to get his own license and finally makes peace with Chase, rejoining the SCU team.
Meanwhile, 006 meets with Medic and a restored Brain, and declares that with Tornado's destruction, it now falls to him to achieve Ultimate Evolution next. Medic resolves to become the final of the Promised Number, swearing to do whatever it takes to succeed.
