When attempts to talk down the new rider prove to be futile, Kit is left in a hopeless fight against a stronger opponent. Le watches the fight, but decided not to intervene. The fight ends with Kit escaping to Earth and Incisor being revealed to be Richie Preston. His following conversation with Walter Connors (Xaviax in disguise) shows that he got into the fight after being disowned by his father. Either he will accept a minimal wage job or he will fight Wing Knight. Not much of a choice.
