* OffTheRails: Things ''impressively'' start quickly falling apart once the group enters 2015: Doc accidentally causes some time paradoxes [[KickTheDog and repeatedly tazes Marty Jr. into potential brain damage]], Jennifer tries to kill Old Biff and causes ''further'' paradoxes [[TooDumbToLive by going to Old Marty’s house]], [[TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers and Marty tries to steal the Almanac]]. By the end of the campaign, [[RealityBreakingParadox the universe is destroyed]].

* BrokenMasquerade: When Marty Sr. and his entire family have seen both the young and old Jennifer in the same room, he tells all of them that time travel is real. [[EverybodyKnewAlready (Though apparently half of them knew already.)]]

* EpicFail: Marty tries to hit Griff with the handle from "his" scooter. He misses and accidentally ''hits himself in the head'' with it.
* FishOutOfTemporalWater: Very much in force. Marty at one point asks "Where can I buy a Website/{{Wikipedia}}?"
* FreakyFridayFlip: In an unusual example, Jennifer ends up swapping bodies with herself from five minutes into the past/future.
* HateSink: Biff is now merely this, in contrast to the movie, where he was the BigBad. It is assumed that he used to be a bully when he was younger, and that his poor parenting resulted in his son becoming a criminal, but he is still HijackedByGanon before he has time to do anything other than simply being an unlikable {{Jerkass}}.
* HeKnowsTooMuch: Jennifer tries to kill Biff with a hovering board because she thinks that he has figured out that she is from the past. (Really, she's just being paranoid. All he said was that she reminded him of someone.)
* HeroicSacrifice: Old!Marty and Old!Jennifer from five minutes further into in the future jump into the black hole in an attempt at preventing more paradoxes from occuring. They are killed instantly.

* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: Jennifer’s immediate reaction to the slightest of suggestions that Old Biff knows the truth about her and Marty? Attempt to knock him unconscious.
* KickTheDog: Doc’s ultimate solution for preventing Marty Jr. from heading to the Cafe 80s is to ''repeatedly taze him''.

* MuggedForDisguise: Marty plans to do this to his own son, but changes his mind when he realises that he and Jennifer's current clothes are probably acceptable as they are.

* ScrewThisImOutOfHere: Once the paradoxes start unraveling, Old!Marty simply takes his family and leaves the town. Unfortunately, it's not enough to save them.
* SkewedPriorities: Despite being at the center of a paradox threatening to destroy the Universe, the only thing Jennifer seems to care about is getting a glass of water.

* TooIncompetentToOperateABlanket: Jocelyn/Jennifer is "mundane", which seemingly means she doesn't even understand that the "off" and "on" buttons are usually the same button.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse: Doc Brown simply... leaves the unconscious Marty Jr. in the middle of a street before fleeing from the police. According to tomorrow's paper, he was eventually saved and managed to survive, though it's unlikely he lived through the destruction of the Universe.
* WouldHurtAChild: Doc Brown, who is now willing to tase Marty Jr. into unconsiousness in an attempt at kidnapping him.

* ForWantOfANail: Because Doc never bothered to knock Jennifer out once she's in the Delorean[[note]]since she saw the Delorean arrive, and Doc was trying to make sure she didn't tell anyone about it being a time machine; no one at the table remembered that Doc did this[[/note]], she winds up being one of the key architects [[TimeCrash for the end of the universe]].

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: When it's mentioned that the Delorean arrived in 2015 at night, only for it to suddenly become day, everyone just assumed there was a TimeSkip in the movie; in reality, they arrived during a ''rain storm'', that ended almost instantaneously after Doc parkedr.
* ChangedMyJumper: Marty and Jennifer simply go around in 2015 wearing their 80's clothes, figuring that fashion is cyclical and that they must have gotten some retro appeal by now.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: [[EarlyInstallmentWeirdness Although it can be chalked up to the fact that it's the first campaign]], Paulo wasn't ''exactly'' faithful in adapting the setting for the campaign:
** When it's mentioned that the Delorean arrived in 2015 at night, only for it to suddenly become day, everyone just assumed there was a TimeSkip in the movie; in reality, they arrived during a ''rain storm'', that ended almost instantaneously after Doc parked.
** Paulo makes a point of saying that the Cafe 80s is staffed with animatronics depicting famous historical figures. In actuality, the historical figures were depicted through television screens a la Series/MaxHeadroom.

* AdultFear: Marty Jr. gets accosted by a strange old man who seems to know a lot about his dad, gets repeatedly tazed, and is forced into a strange car under threat of ''further'' tazing.
