They are attacked by a huge man with pitch black, hairless skin with white markings, yellow eyes and teeth, and a third eye in his forehead. He wields two huge flaming axes. Darius picks up the Iron Maiden and rests it on his shoulder. Blake says they will pay for killing Altera, but Carmilla says she is not dead, as they need all of them alive. They are attacked by a huge man with pitch black, hairless skin with white markings, yellow eyes and teeth, and a third eye in his forehead. He wields two huge flaming axes. Blake uses her Shadow Clones to take them to behind a building. She asks where Medusa is, and Altera says she is helping Gawain. Despite her injuries, Altera says she doesn't care what this creature is; it's a Grimm, and she will destroy all Grimm for taking Hakuno away from her. She charges at the man, but an iron maiden appears in her path and opens up. Altera tries to stop herself, but it sucks her inside as she drops her Photon Ray. It snaps shut and she screams from getting impaled on the spikes. Carmilla walks up and says her Iron Maiden is impressive, then introduces the man as a Grimm she created called Darius. Darius picks up the Iron Maiden and rests it on his shoulder. Blake says they will pay for killing Altera, but Carmilla says she is not dead, as they need all of them alive. Blake runs through the town telling the citizens to get to shelter. She sees Ren and Okita fighting some of the ghost-like Grimm called Geist. Ren suddenly sees what appears to be Fran walk up to him. He asks when she got here, but she smashes her mace into his ribs and knocks him through a wall. Before he passes out, he sees the cold look in her eyes and realizes she is not the Fran he knows. As Blake and Okita stare in shock, Victor Frankenstein walks up and tells her she did good, then tells her to attack Okita next. She replies in English, "Yes Father." and attacks. Victor then orders all the Geist to attack Blake, who is forced to fall back. Okita dodges the Fran copy's mace and attempts to strike her with her sword, but Victor suddenly shoots the Fran copy with a pistol. The bullet punches through her and hits Okita in the stomach. The Fran copy asks, "Father... why?" and keels over. Coughing up blood, Okita calls him a bastard for betraying his own daughter. Victor coldly says she is not human, just a construct. He commands one of the Geist to possess the Fran copy and she rises again. Victor says at least she is superior to his monster of a daughter, and the Fran copy says she will kill the first Fran. Victor pistol whips Okita and knocks her out.

Ren suddenly sees what appears to be Fran walk up to him. He asks when she got here, but she smashes her mace into his ribs and knocks him through a wall.
