* EvilVersusOblivion: Megavolt's reason for joining Posiduck:
--> Megavolt: If [galvanized Negaduck] destroys Saint Canard, there will be nothing left to steal!

Added DiffLines:

* GoodIsImpotent: In a downplayed example, Posiduck is too much of a pacifist to be any use in a fight, even though he remains competent in other aspects (such as saving people from death traps). At the end of the episode, galvanization does give him superpowers that allow him to oppose the galvanized Negaduck, thus averting the trope.

* PersonOfMassConstruction / PersonOfMassDestruction: Post-galvanization Posiduck and Negaduck, respectively.

* BadGuyBar: Where Bad Darkwing finds Megavolt.

* IHaveNoSon: Played for laughs. Since the split was the result of his device, Megavolt initially regards Bad Darkwing as his son. After the newly christened Negaduck casts him off and vows to wreak massive upon the city, Megavolt shouts, "Ingrate! You're no son of mine!"

!!This episode contains examples of the following tropes:

* BlackEyesOfCrazy: Negaduck's sclera turn black.
* CastingAShadow: Negaduck, kinda. His negative energy manifests itself as evil-looking lightning and energy balls.
* BigOlEyebrows: Negaduck spots these, as a way the viewer could tell him from Posiduck was his thick black angry eyebrows.
* EnemyMine: Megavolt helps to bring Darkwing back to normal and stop Negaduck from destroying everything.
* ForTheEvulz[=/=]EvilerThanThou:
--> Negaduck (post-galvanization): Crime!? Who cares about crime?! I'm into wanton, mindless destruction!
* FriendToAllLivingThings: Post-galvanization Posiduck is able to everything he gets near, inverting Negaduck's WalkingWasteland.
* LightIsNotGood: Post-galvanization Negaduck's costume is a lot lighter than Darkwing's dark costume and produced light blue energy.
* LiteralSplitPersonality: Darkwing is split into good and evil sides, which are later enhanced into super-good and super-evil sides.
* SuperMode: What happens when Darkwing's bad and good sides are exposed to galvanization, significantly boosted their abilities to the point of making them Reality Warpers.
