Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationExpansion: In the manga Allen comes to the Order after Komurin II is already malfunctioning and has wreck havoc in the headquarters. The anime interlocks the manga content with the surprise welcome party for Allen subplot from the two previous episodes, and starts the episode with Allen already in the headquarters before the robot gets crazy, also including a lot of extra content such as Kanda's involvement in the destruction of the first Komurin or the scientists of the Order devising ways of saving Allen from the rampage of Komurin II.
* AdaptedOut: Reever's explanation about the working of Lenalee's Innocence is removed from this arc in the anime, as Toma already mentioned it the previous episode.
* ArcVillain: Komurin II becomes the main antagonist of the arc after going mad drinking the coffee Lenalee brought for the Science Department members, chasing around Allen to make him "more suited for combat" (AKA performing a painful-looking surgery on him). He's easily defeated by Lenalee once she awakes from the anesthesia Komurin II put on her, however.

Added DiffLines:

* CurbStompBattle: While Komurin II is huge and imposing, at the end he's just a man-made machine with no supernatural powers. As such, once Lenalee wakes up and confronts it, she destroys it quite easily.

Added DiffLines:

* TheMillstone: An intentional example in Komui. He's so proud of his creation that he does everything in his power to sabotage the attempts of Allen, Reever and the others to harm Komurin II. It goes to the point he even doubts at one point if to save his sister or the robot!

* TheArtifact: The mini-arc in the anime loses a bit of its purpose after Lenalee was shown to be an accomodator an episode after (the whole thing in the manga is more or less an excuse to reveal that Lenalee is also an Exorcist), coming as a fillery comedy episode. However, as the end of the mini-arc in the manga served to introduce the Noah (who would become the main antagonists of the series) it was kept in the anime as part of the continuity.

!! Short Summary
Returning from the mission in Matter, Allen finds the headquarters in complete chaos. Lenalee is unconscious and the staff of the Science Deparment is threatened by Komurin II, a gigantic robot created by Komui that went berserk after drinking accidentaly the coffee Lenalee prepared for the scientists of the Order, malfunctioning it and making the machine obssessed with performing surgery on the Exorcists to make them better suited for combat. With Allen being the only one present able to fight Komurin II, it's up to him to defeat the robot before it destroys the headquarters.

!! Main Summary

----
The ''Destruction of the Black Order Attempt Arc'' has the following tropes:

* TheArtifact: The mini-arc in the anime loses a bit of its purpose after Lenalee was shown to be an accomodator an episode after (the whole thing in the manga is more or less an excuse to reveal that Lenalee is also an Exorcist), coming as a fillery comedy episode. However, as the end of the mini-arc in the manga served to introduce the Noah (who would become the main antagonists of the series) it was kept in the anime as part of the continuity.
* BreatherEpisode: After the rather dramatic end of the previous arc, this two-chapters/single episode arc serves for a wacky comedic event involving Komui's shenanigans in the Order before the Rewinding Town arc begins.
* EstablishingCharacterMoment: During the first appearance of the Noah Clan, Skinn Bolic (who for a single page becomes the very first Noah to appear not counting the Earl) proceeds to beat an Akuma maid to death after being served an egg, which he complains it's not sweet. This quickly tells you all you need to know about him.
* TheReveal:
** Lenalee is revealed to be an Exorcist after being shown as simply Komui's sister in her first appearances.
** The Earl is revealed to have more allies other than the Akuma when the Noah appears at the end of the arc.
