* CharacterDevelopment: At the beginning of the show, Max would've happily let the camp rot. As the series has gone on, he's gradually come to accept the camp and stopped tormenting David just for the hell of it - even going so far as to ''hug'' David for half a second in the last episode. He's also revealed that his home life is pretty abysmal. Here, when presented with the opportunity to destroy the camp, he instead opts to step in and save it - solidifying that he really does see the camp as home, for better or for worse.

Added DiffLines:

* WorthlessYellowRocks: Nikki decides that digging up buried treasure is the best way to save the camp. She's disappointed that she only ever finds crude oil.
* WorthyOpponent: Max outright admits his respect for how low David and Gwen were willing to sink to save the camp. David, on the other hand, tells Max he's never been more proud of him for saving the camp.

** Gwen recalls the events of "Gwen Gets A Job" when she worries she'll have to start sending out resumes again if the camp fails.
* DiggingYourselfDeeper: Every attempt to raise money only sets the camp back further, until they owe twice the amount they previously did.
* GoodIsNotNice: Max saves the camp, but he's more than happy to let Quartermaster beat the stuffing out of David and Gwen to do it.
* KarmicTrickster: Max saves the camp because it's the right thing to do, but he's more than a little gleeful that David and Gwen suffer for stealing the Quartermaster's hook hand.
* NotSoStoic: Arguably the most expression we've seen from Quartermaster yet; he's absolutely inconsolable without his hand.
* VillainBall: David and Gwen definitely TookALevelInJerkass in order to steal the Quartermaster's hook hand and lie about it to raise money.
* WhatTheHellHero: The Quartermaster loses his mind when he finds out that David and Gwen were the ones who stole his hook.
-->'''QM:''' ''You stole an amputee's prosthetic hand for a goddamn PROFIT?!''
* WouldHitAGirl: Quartermaster has no problem choking the life out of Gwen, and considering what she put him through, it's hard to blame him.
