* AnAesop: The others keep trying to be the one to identify the most remains, but Arastoo is determined to find this one man, otherwise forgotten and abandoned by society. He draws the others in and it becomes incredibly important to everyone to find out what happened to him. In the end, even though Brennan failed to properly communicate what she was trying to do, she succeeded in bringing the interns together as a team.

Having been inspired by the teaching of a basketball coach, Brennan calls all of her available interns together to have them sort through "Limbo" and identify as many of the remains down their as possible. One set, however, belongs to a homeless Gulf War veteran with a surprising connection to the September 11th attacks, bringing the entire team together to solve his case.

They soon discover the remains of one unidentified man who was found near the Pentagon days after the September 11 attacks. All of the Jeffersonian forensic team come together to help solve the case. When Booth realizes that the victim was a fellow Gulf War veteran who had become homeless and was thought to have gone missing, he is determined to find the identity of the victim and bring the family some closure.
