* FirstPetStory: The kids try to get their parents to get them a puppy, which they disagree with due to the usual reasons of one being a large responsibility as well being an additional drain on their already struggling finances. Louise tries to solve the situation by extorting 250 dollars from Felix in exchange of keeping him hidden from Calvin until 12:30 PM the next day which would allow him to beat Calvin's record, thinking that it'll be enough for the puppy's expenses for at least a month or 2, and by that time the parents have gotten so attached to it that they don't have the heart to give it away. This fails because Calvin manages to figure out the kids' plan and finds Felix one minute from the deadline, but luckily for the kids, the blogger brings his puppy along to his private brunch the next day for them to play with.

* JustHereForTheFreeSnacks: The "Brunch Skunks" who crowd the restaurant and only order the unlimited mimosas. The blogger warns Linda that these people will do anything to keep drinking. One even vomits into a purse and keeps drinking.

* ReasonableAuthorityFigure: A police officer isn't going to arrest the restaurant owner because they stopped you from drinking them into the poorhouse, they will however arrest ''you'' because you've turned violent.

Bob and Linda start serving brunch at the restaurant, only to run afoul of "brunch skunks" who take advantage of Linda's bottomless mimosas. Meanwhile, Felix Fischoeder enlists the Belcher kids in helping him in an epic game of hide-and-seek with his brother Calvin.
