!!!For its second season, the series moved to Wednesday nights for its Autumn run, along with fellow Nick show ''TheThundermans''; beginning with "The Outlaw Bella Dawson", the show moved back to Saturdays for its Spring broadcasts.

Things take a bad turn when Bella's copy of the game plan ends up in the hands of a Wentworth player after an accidental bag switch, forcing her to try and get it back before kickoff. # [[Recap/BellaAndTheBulldogsS2E17DoggoneRecordBreaker "Doggone Record Breaker"]] - Troy's father, Ray, returns home from the military for a brief stay. When his son beats him in ping pong, Ray takes the loss hard, which upsets Troy. Things get more awkward when Troy learns that he is one touchdown away from breaking the football team's career record for the stat...currently shared by he and Ray. On top of all of this, Sawyer seems to have a crush on Troy's mom, continuously inviting himself over for dinner. Meanwhile, Newt's mom gifts him a bulldog, which his stepmom, Brenda, is allergic to. He is forced to carry the dog, whom he names "Toughie", to school...where Toughie goes missing. This forces Bella, Sophie, and Pepper to help find the dog before Newt is caught and suspended.

# [[Recap/BellaAndTheBulldogsS2E19OhBabyItsThePlayoffs "Oh Baby, It's the Playoffs"]] - The Bulldogs will once again face off against Durango in the first round of the playoffs. At a pancake breakfast celebrating the team making it this far, the players are informed that a severe weather threat has forced the game's postponement from Friday night to Saturday night; this puts Bella, Sophie, and Pepper in a pickle, as Pepper's mother's baby shower is scheduled for the same time. The three come up with a solution where they can have the shower, and still get to the game on time. Unfortunately, after the shower, Pepper's mom goes into labor, and Pepper's dad is nowhere to be found. This forces Bella to drive Mrs. Silverstein to the hospital, putting any hopes of getting to the game at all. Meanwhile, Newt and Sawyer attempt to hide a scathing column in ''Silverado Weekly'' from Troy...where he is the main focus.

Newt and Sawyer - plus their dads - worry about how they'll perform when they see Troy's well-built uncle (played by [[SpecialGuestStar NFL legend Tony Gonzalez]]). Meanwhile, for the game, Sophie and Pepper attempt to sell Sophie's mom's tamales...only for things to go wrong.
