!!Tropes:
* HumanPopsicle: Galen Korr and his Kree goons are abducting nuhumans to take back to Hala. The jars are sealed with a special gas that is deadly for humans to breath.
* InterserviceRivalry: Captain America and Captain Marvel maintain a more-or-less friendly rivalry based on coming from the army and the air force respectively.
* ItsPersonal: Apparently Captain Marvel took out Korr's entire squad in a previous encounter, so it's a little personal for him.
* IWorkAlone: Captain Marvel's attitude to start with. She has no problem ''helping'' other heroes, but working as part of a team is difficult for her. Cap intimates that her attitude might mean it's not entirely her choosing to go alone, but rather no-one ''wanting'' to work with her.
* KillAllHumans: Galen Korr's back-up plan; launch missiles full of the deadly anti-human gas at Earth and kill anyone who's not an Inhuman, then come back to abduct all the Inhumans later.
* KillerRobot: The Kree Sentries, of which Galen Korr has several squirreled through his ship.
* LeeroyJenkins: Just as Cap says they need a plan for dealing with the Kree, Danvers goes in swinging, since attacking is her plan. Steve testily tells her that even if it was, she should've shared it with the others.
* LuredIntoATrap: The Avengers and Captain Marvel trace a Kree presence to a supposedly abandoned warehouse, which turns to be a Kree spaceship, ready for take-off.
* NoodleIncident: The thing in Helsinki, for which Hawkeye owes Captain Marvel. She later explains some of the details to Falcon (she HALO-ed in, saved Hawkeye twice, and fought some barbarians, or at least what she ''assumes'' were barbarians).
* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: When Cap and Captain Marvel stop bickering, Falcon gets unnerved.
* ThePowerOfTrust: Captain Marvel trusts Falcon to know how to stop the Kree ship because Captain America trusts him, and that's all she needs to know.
* TouchedByVorlons: Danvers' backstory is briefly touched on, in that she was abducted by the Kree and experimented on, which is what's given her her powers.
* WhileYouWereInDiapers: After Captain America shows a surprising aptitude for sneaking, he tells Danvers he's been sneaking around when the only planes she was flying were paper kites.
