* ActorAllusion: The entire fugue state is basically one massive allusion to Creator/HJonBenjamin's voicework as both Sterling Archer and Bob Belcher from ''WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers''. There are some minor allusions to the latter show too (Bob-as-Archer always thinking up various recipes and puns for food, he's wearing a similar moustache, bad puns on the menu etc.). Similarly, Linda is also voiced by her original VA; Creator/JohnRobertsActor.

* TheVoiceless" The Archer versions of Tina, Gene, and Louise don't say anything at all, strangely enough. Ironically, their voice actors would later return to voice Archer-only characters several episodes later.

Archer finds himself working at [[WesternAnimation/BobsBurgers his own burger joint under the name Bob Belcher with a wife named Linda and three kids named Tina, Louise, and Gene]] and doesn't remember what happened to him or who he is, but knows that KGB agents are after him and he, for some reason, has the combat skills of a secret agent.

* BackToFront: The start of the episode begins with Archer under his fugue state persona Bob Belcher. When he recovers, the near end revels why he ended up like this: his mother got married to a new man named Ron Cadillac and, drunk out of his mind, he hijacks a limousine meant for them.

* CallBack: Archer puts liquor bottle labels on Lana's breasts as a call back to last season's finale.

* FreezeFrameBonus: After Bob slaughters the KGB attack squad, the Belchers watch in gape-jawed horror...except Louise, who has a sly, admiring smile.

* TraumaInduecedAmnesia: Archer's fugue state leads to him completely forgetting who he is because of how traumatic it was to see his mother marry someone. The opening scene makes it clear he still has all his combat skills, even if he doesn't ''know'' he has them.
