**In "The Wrestler", Stan and Roger pull off many efforts to stop Barry from beating Stan's wrestling record. So in one match, Barry appears to be late, as Roger "took care" of Barry, but then [[ManOnFire Barry bursts out of the doors in flames]] and Stop-Drop-and Rolls into his opponent, and beating him.

* ''Franchise/{{Rugrats}}'':
** ''WesternAnimation/Rugrats1991'':
*** In the very first episode, Stu and Drew decide to put on a puppet show for Tommy's birthday party. When Lou reminds them "Don't you remember what happened the last time you two put on a show?", Stu replies "Come on, pop, my arm healed and Drew sees almost perfectly out of that eye."
*** When Tommy gets sick in "Slumber Party" and Lou suggests "the Applesauce Cure": "Just hold him upside down and get some applesauce and an old sock big enough for his head...." Nobody's willing to try it again. "I remember that. There was applesauce everywhere!"
*** In "Chuckie Vs. the Potty", Didi becomes discouraged when Chuckie [[PottyFailure has an accident]] after his first unsuccessful attempt to use the potty. Stu assures her that many children weren't potty-trained at the age of two, and reluctantly tells her that he was one of them, much to her shock. Lou overhears and tells Didi that it took so long to potty-train Stu that he almost didn't get him into the boy scouts.
*** In "Mirrorland", Tommy and Chuckie return from their "trip" to Mirrorland, but Phil and Lil suspect them of being MirrorUniverse doubles. They test their identities by asking them questions:
---->'''Lil:''' All right, Chuckie, what's the time you were [[BuffySpeak scaredest]] the most?\\
'''Chuckie:''' It was the time I got my head caught in a sock.
*** One Noodle Incident was unusual in that it happened pretty much on-screen, just out of view. In "Reptar on Ice", Didi and Stu take the children to a Reptar show. While still in the parking lot, Didi asks Stu if he has the tickets. He begins frantically searching himself. Cut to the kids talking, with Didi and Stu in the background. When the scene returns to the adults, they have the tickets.
---->'''Didi:''' What I don't understand is why you put them ''there'' in the first place.\\
'''Stu:''' It seemed like a good idea at the time.
*** In "Let Them Eat Cake", the episode where Tommy's Uncle Ben gets married:
*** This exchange between Chas and Stu:
----->'''Chas:''' I can't believe Didi's little brother is getting married. [[IRememberItLikeItWasYesterday It seems like only yesterday]], he was running around in short pants, screaming..\\
'''Stu:''' That ''was'' yesterday, Chas. Remember the bachelor party?
*** At the wedding itself, two of the guests comment that Angelica, who is the flower girl, tore up their petunias last summer.
*** Stu claims that around the time he and Didi got married, Didi had disappeared for three days, to which [[BeQuietNudge Didi elbows him in the stomach]] for bringing up.
*** In "The Big Flush", when Tommy asks Chuckie, "When was the last time I ever got you lost?", Chuckie rattles off a list of "adventures" [[ContinuityNod seen in previous episodes,]] except for the last one: "... and the time I got stuck in the tomato bush, and that dog thought I was a tree..."
*** '"Tricycle Thief":
*** Chuckie mentions that [[NoseShove he once put a penny in his nose]].
*** Susie doesn't believe Angelica when the latter tells her that [[NotMeThisTime she didn't steal her tricycle]], and reminds her of the past times she lied to the babies, such as when she told Chuckie the guy on the oatmeal box moved in next door (to which Chuckie tells her not to remind him of), and when she told Phil and Lil that [[MistakenForFakeHair Howard's hair was a wig]]. (The twins recall how mad Howard was when they tried to pull it off, but [[ActuallyPrettyFunny how funny it was anyway]].)
*** In "The Legend of Satchmo", Stu is revealed to have a had a HorribleCampingTrip over a year before the episode's events, wherein he got lost for three days.
*** From "Angelica's Birthday", when the babies discover that Angelica is going to dress and act like a baby to avoid responsibilities on her birthday:
---->'''Lil:''' If she's a baby, she'll be one of us!\\
'''Phil:''' And if she's just one of us, maybe she can't push us around anymore!\\
'''Lil:''' Or steal our toys anymore!\\
'''Chuckie:''' Or [[DraggedIntoDrag make us wear those frilly panties]]!\\
''(Tommy, Phil, and Lil all stare in shock at Chuckie.)''\\
'''Chuckie:''' Um, I don't wanna talk about it.
*** In "Naked Tommy", Stu becomes frustrated when Tommy won't wear his diaper (wanting to be naked like Spike). This exchange then occurs:
---->'''Didi:''' Stu, it's nothing to worry about, it's perfectly natural.\\
'''Stu:''' Natural?! You think running around with no clothes on is natural?! I don't know what kind of family you're from, Deed, but in my family, we wore clothes! Except of course, for Great Aunt Lois, but that's another story.
*** When Charlotte took Tommy and Angelica with her to work in "Mommy's Little Assets", Angelica ended up [[ElevatorButtonsMash pressing all the buttons on the elevator]] which meant they had to stop at every floor before getting to her office (which according to Charlotte, normally takes about 30 seconds without any stops). When they finally reach her floor, a worried Jonathan said "You said 30 seconds. I thought you had been abducted by eco-terrorists again."
*** When Chuckie's "gardening (guardian) angel" appears in "Chuckie's Wonderful Life", Chuckie demands to know:
---->'''Chuckie:''' Where was ya' the time I got my tongue stucked on that ice cube? Or the time I got my head caught in the back of that weird-looking chair? Or the time I trapped myself in the birdcage?!\\
'''Angel:''' Gimme a break! I'm only two, you know!
*** In "Angelica's Last Stand", Angelica tries to persuade Chuckie to help at her lemonade stand:
---->'''Angelica:''' Chuckie, have I ever lied to you?\\
'''Chuckie:''' Well, there was that time you told me Spike was my brother, and the time you told me rocks was food, and the...
*** In "Send in the Clouds", Grandpa Lou is recounting all the times Stu got himself injured in a do-it-yourself home repair project:
---->'''Grandpa:''' This one I ''still'' don't understand! "October 3rd: Changed the light bulb in the refrigerator. [[EpicFail Nine stitches and a case of pink eye]]"?
*** In "Autumn Leaves", the babies mistakenly think that a tree is sick when it starts shedding its leaves, especially Chuckie, who feels responsible for it happening because he spilled his apple juice on the tree. When he tells Tommy that giving apple juice to a tree that isn't an apple tree is like giving bird food to a goldfish, Phil remarks "[[BlackComedyPetDeath Oh, so that's why Flippy had to go to the hospital in the potty]]."
*** In "Opposites Attract", Chuckie meets a boy named Freddie who is even more cowardly than him. When Freddie tells Chuckie about sand lizards, Chuckie tells him off, saying that the only time he's ever been afraid of a sandbox was when he was at Angelica's house and Fluffy [[MistakenForToilet mistook Angelica's sandbox for a giant litter box and pooped in it]].
** ''WesternAnimation/Rugrats2021'':
*** In "House Broken", when Stu installs a yodeling garbage disposal in the kitchen after upgrading Duffy, Lou tells Stu he thought he was done with singing appliances after he installed an operatic toilet.
*** In "[[Recap/Rugrats2021S1E23HouseOfCardboardFluffyMovesIn Fluffy Moves in]]", when Angelica tells the babies that [[NotMeThisTime she didn't break their possessions]] (as it was really Fluffy who did it), she brings up past times when she lied, such as when she told them Spike ate their monkey puppet and when she told them the mailman moved to the North Pole to work for Santa Claus.
