* Also in Episode 7, Jordan overhears Irons (with his superhearing) planning to kill Superman and tells Jon that someone is about to kill their dad. Despite not knowing how to drive yet, a desperate Jon speeds off in their mom's car, pleading with Jordan to focus enough with his superhearing to find out where their dad is to save him. By the time they get to him, Irons is literally one swing away from decapitating Clark and they narrowly save him from certain death.

!! Season 3
* Lex Luthor shows up at the Kent's house and implicitly threatens Lois and her family if she doesn't retire (which, of course, she's not going to do). Given that Jordan's been showing off recently, this cannot be good...
* Lex and his minion investigate the tunnels where Bruno had his project. Bizarro is seen feeding off of rats, and attacks them, with the implication that he's going to kill (and eat) Lex's minion too.

* Also in "The Inverse Method," Anderson discovers the location of the creature that escaped from the mines and, unaware that the creature in question is Bizarro, immediately sends three of the X-Kryptonite enhanced teenagers after it. Things do not go well for them as Bizarro effortlessly murders two of them with his bare hands while Clark (and by extension, the audience) are forced to watch it happen from Bizarro's own POV via one of Clark's visions. The last teenager only survives thanks to Superman's timely arrival on the scene.

* Episode 3 shows that that's not Doomsday - that's Bizarro! Despite that, the beast is ridiculously overpowered, easily shrugging off machine gun fire and Steel's red sun cannon. The only thing that saves Superman from being beaten to death is the two of them suffering from the visions again.
** Clark's Bizarro-fueled outbursts at his sons are terrifying. One minute, he's the NiceGuy everyone expects Clark Kent to be. Then the next, he's displaying glowing red eyes as he rages at Jordan and later Jonathan in a distorted voice.
* In "The Inverse Method," Ally Allston proves to be a ManipulativeBitch good enough to put Zeta-Rho in the shade. We see the effects of her brainwashing with Lucy Lane, and it is horrifying. She makes Lucy, who nearly killed herself thanks to Ally's instructions, believe that it was a good thing.
** At the conclusion of Ally's conversation with Lois, she gets up to leave...and a handful of other patrons in the diner follow suit. Which begs a disturbing question: how many Smallville citizens are under Ally's sway?

* In "Girl... You'll Be A Woman Soon", we see Lois confront Bizzaro in Kitty Faulkner's office, only for the monster to fly off. When Lois investigates further, we see that Faulkner's neck has also been snapped by the beast, her head wrenched a full 90 degrees with a look of abject horror on her face. While certainly a HoistByHerOwnPetard moment, it's also equally horrifying.

* Doomsday's terror continues in Episode 2 and he makes his way through the mines. Though all we see of him is just a silhouette and four glowing lights on his shoulders and hands, his ferocity is shown as he pulls away two miners to certain death and forces the third to detonate the explosives in the cave, dropping it on him.

* The ending of Episode 1 has a familiar smashing as it focuses from Smallville to a construction site down, then down below as a spiky hand busts through a wall and clutches at a nearby rock. Doomsday is Coming and even the Superman & Lois logo shudders as he continues his escape.

His victims in this world are people he personally knows and loves as his dear family. And, in this world, he straight-up murdered them without hesitation. He takes a minute to back away by himself as he takes in this horrible information, shocked upon learning his worst nightmare actually came true. Even in an alternate world and version of himself.
