When Superman realizes what they have, he ''immediately'' flees, and the rest of the Justice League go into hiding while another flashback shows the Riddler using the Noxium on Batman and instantly killing him. This is horrible enough if you're a kid, but the episode ramps up the scariness by having the Legion lure the others out of hiding by attacking their loved ones. The end result is ''every other Super Friend'' dying on camera, and the revelation that they turned out to be robots only alleviates it slightly.

Maybe it's just me but this episode scared me as a kid, especially cause I only saw the evil Alfred part but not how they got out of it.
