* The shot of the killer descending the stairs is genuinely pretty chilling. You can hear the kids laughing and joking in the background, unaware that [[ParanoiaFuel the story they told just came true.]] [[SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic The music]] does a pretty good job of giving you that feeling of dread, with the strings playing in dissonant intervals [[PsychoStrings reminiscent of]] Film/{{Psycho}}.
* One kid decides to be brave and check behind the shower curtains for the killer, but doesn't find him. He then turns around and finds himself [[RightBehindYou face to face with the killer.]] This is a pretty good scare in a video that doesn't take itself too seriously.
* A few kills in Sleep Tight are pretty brutal. One kid has his [[AgonyOfTheFeet foot sliced open]], then he's thrown to the ground and is stabbed right through the head with a SickeningCrunch. Another kid is stabbed a total of '''[[NoKillLikeOverkill 15 times.]]'''
!!The Mario Thanksgiving:
* The scene where Mario and Luigi are ambushed is pretty suspense inducing. Mario and Luigi are talking, then right as Luigi's about to get to the point, you see the door fling open by itself. Mario and Luigi are caught off-guard, and we suddenly see a POV shot from above Mario's head. Luigi, frightened, isn't able to warn Mario before the thing above him drops down and smashes into him. The thing rushes at Luigi, all while his screams get more frantic. Chilling.

* Donkey Kong Jr's monologue is genuinely pretty creepy. All while he's pointing a ''gun'' at Mario.
