What sells it is how his eyes look downright [[EmptyEyes dead]], emphasizing his utter lack of humanity. The reason he bullies Kiritaka and makes his life a living hell? [[DisproportionateRetribution Because he didn't like the defiant look in Kiritaka's eyes]]! When Kiritaka eventually dies, Okaya is furious because he can't torment him anymore, feeling like he "won."

** Also, Okaya's face when Kinugawa promises he will not give their names away if he gets caught by the authorities. It's clear he's pleased with that so he and Mutta do not get under the police's radar.

Yuda's guilt and trauma have twisted him into a murderer, and while his targets [[AssholeVictim are scumbags that deserve to die]], it's unnerving to see how dedicated he is to Maria and how driven he is in wanting to kill his targets.

* Maria [[NoJustNoReaction rejects having Yuda as her helper]], revealing that [[CaughtOnTape she recorded his confession to killing Iijima]] and warns him to get out of the car or she will go to the police with the confession. But as Maria drives away and looks at her rearview mirror, Akihiro Yuda has this twisted smile on him and reveals that he has not given up on helping her. Akihiro's guilt and trauma have twisted him into a murderer, and while his targets are scumbags that deserve to die, it's nerving to see how dedicated he is to Maria and how satanic he is in wanting to kill his targets.
* Nozomu Okaya and Tsuyoshi Kinugawa suspect that Inspector Taiichiro Nagare has murdered their two friends, so Kinugawa is looking for evidence in his house while he's away. It's horrifying that Taiichiro Nagare is on that two radar for suspecting their friend's murder and the fact that that monster Kinugawa, Who is known to brutally beat people, is in Taiichiro House and could be his next victim.

** He became so entranced by the sight of Maria killing Kowase that he followed her all the way home, broke into her house and searched her room to learn more about her. While this is already creepy, when Yuda laid eyes on the altar Maria made for Kiritaka he decided that it was his destiny to help her. * This chapter shows much more about how Yuda's mind becomes disturbed because of the trauma and guilt he suffered. When he tried to kill Iijima by smashing his head with a hammer so that he wouldn't get in the way of Maria's revenge, he ended up accidentally pushing him downstairs, leading to his death by a broken neck. At that moment, as Yuda contemplated Iijima's corpse, he visualized Okaya in his place. While panting and "blushing" heavily. This chapter also makes clear how much he worshiped the ground Maria Akeboshi walks on for hunting down the bullies that killed his best friend and her son and that he is willing to be put at risk by offering himself as a tool for Maria (whom he idolizes), to atone for Kiritaka. It is clear that the guilt from his friend's death and the trauma he suffered from the bullies have twisted him into a killer in the making, and he is willing to be used to get revenge on the monsters who killed his friends
