One would hope that the LegionsOfHell would prove scary. ''Series/KyuKyuSentaiGoGoV'' does not disappoint.

* In the opening sequence, for the first half of the series, it shows Earth's solar system bursting into flames while the planets are aligned in the Grand Cross. Starting from Mission 26, the opening sequence is Earth being smashed by two demonic hands which turn out to be {{Foreshadowing}} the events of the series finale.

** Then after her body is destroyed, Grandienne is revealed to be a spirit made of Minus Energy as she envelops the planet and creates natural disasters before resurrecting her most powerful children and stripped them of their minds to make use as puppet bodies in the final episode. She also express her intent of expanding her essence across the universe.

* Great Witch Grandienne, the series BigBad and matriarch of the Saima Family, takes AbusiveParent to one of the most extremes by Super Sentai standards. When her face is first revealed in episode 24, it was her usual expression of bored contempt. It gets played out in a TheFourthWallWillNotProtectYou moment when she starts grinning, revealing very large, very sharp teeth, and her eyes grow wider and start glowing until you can't see her irises anymore. It should not be possible for a face to be that scary.

* Episode 19 introduces a terrible trio of monsters. They release 100 feathers over a day letting them be caught by people or land in places. It turns out that once sunlight stops touching them they explode. To make it worse is one of these feathers landed in the hands of a one year old. If the trio are defeated the feathers go inert. Sadly this is a wham episode where the Go Go V are defeated and a series of explosions rock the city like a terrorist attack.
* In episode 24, we finally see the face of the much spoken of mother of the Saima Demons, Grand Witch Grandienne. At first she has an expression of bored contempt, but then she starts grinning, revealing very large, very sharp teeth, and her eyes grow wider and start glowing until you can't see her irises anymore. It should not be possible for a face to be that scary.
* In the opening sequence, there's a bit with the planet being smashed by two demonic hands.
* Grandienne is also one who takes AbusiveParent to one of the most extremes, especially in Sentai.
* Golem Hellgerus's death in episode 12 -- after being struck by the Grand Liner's [[MoreDakka Grand Storm]], Hellgerus drops his weapon and ''[[BodyHorror his body expands from the inside out]]'', before his body blows apart (presumably from the sheer force of the Grand Storm's mega-sized bullets and missiles). ''Series/PowerRangersLightspeedRescue'' had the good sense to [[{{Bowdlerize}} try and cover it up a bit]] [[https://youtu.be/IKjvdI2qBYc?t=383 with a superimposed fireball]] (though it's not clear why they swapped the order of attacks around).

One would hope that the LegionsOfHell would prove scary. Series/KyuKyuSentaiGoGoV does not disappoint.
