Their awakening is heralded by a darkened sky and their intimidating form peering from the distance half-emerged from the once-frozen lake that sealed them, being seen from as far as the capital of Winter Rose.
** Midgardsormr is a collection of Earthworm-type Pests, which on their own isn't that threatening... until you realize the ''sheer scale'' of the population that makes them up, which is emphasized by the cutscene in the "Decisive Battle Against Midgardsormr", featuring a ZergRush of the worms rushing through the underground -- including the Manyu villages as the inhabitants retreat -- and surrounding Lily Wood on all sides as they emerge from the ground, only stopped by the magic emitted from the World Flower keeping them just outside.
