* Eiden's artist block is actually the result of his own anger towards the Sky Golems consuming him and making him paint the above flashback's drawing. Then it's revealed he had actually been drawing a [[NightmareFuelColoringBook childish version]] of the painting in the first chapter, but had erased it before we actually saw it. The mental manifestation of his hatred even seems to mock him as Dakini destroys Karura.
* In Chapter 10, Dakini has a nightmare revisiting the battle of Karacuma, where she helplessly watches herself destroy the town while being encouraged by her mother to remain focused on killing the golems. Then her mother emerges from her past self's mouth and starts removing her mask, which is apparently kept on with spikes, several of which [[{{Fingore}} stab right through her thumb]]. With the mask off, Dakini's mother apparently looks like a horrifying monster with several faces fused together.

* Chapter 11:
** Karura turns out to be still be on the trail of Dakini, as his corpse is being puppeted by a cluster of parasitic golems. His body is in much worse condition, and after taking just one blow from Eiden, it looks like he could fall to pieces at any moment.
** Eiden gets speared through the arm by Karura right before dealing the decisive blow. We even get to see the aftermath and can even see his ''bones'' before he's able to heal himself with medicine water. According to the author's notes, this would have been nearly fatal otherwise.
