Escape the Fate is an American PostHardcore[=/=]{{Metalcore}} band from UsefulNotes/LasVegas formed in 2004. Since forming, they have released eight full-length studio albums=. Their first big break was winning a radio competition sponsored by Music/MyChemicalRomance, earning them a place on their tour and kickstarting their career. ''Dying Is Your Latest Fashion'' was the band's debut, the only album to feature original vocalist Ronnie Radke. ''This War Is Ours'', released on October 2008, was the band's first album with Craig Mabbitt as the new lead vocalist. Their self-titled third studio album was released on November 2010 and their most successful album to date.

Their third album, ''[[SelfTitledAlbum Escape The Fate]]'', has hit Number 25 on the Billboard 100, 1 at Hard Rock Albums, 4 in a Rock Albums, 3 in Alternative and Independent charts and 18 in Digital Albums Chart. ''Ungrateful'' hit 27 on the Billboard 200, number 2 on the U.S. Hard Rock albums chart, number 22 on the Top Digital Albums chart, number 6 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, number 7 on the Top Rock albums chart, and number 5 on the Top Independent Albums chart. Their most recent album, ''Hate Me'', did not perform as well, peaking at 58 on the Billboard 200 despite being produced by Grammy-nominated producer Howard Benson.

* PrettyFlyForAWhiteGuy: Ronnie didn't become a full-on example of this until Music/FallingInReverse, but when he was in the band, he was a big enough fan of [[Music/50Cent G-Unit]] that he showed off a belt buckle with their name on it in a promo video and gave them a shout-out in the liner notes for ''Dying Is Your Latest Fashion''.

After the departure of Radke, former {{Blessthefall}} vocalist Craig Mabbitt joined the band, first as a temporary replacement, and then as a permanent member. He also had a small side project going on called Music/TheWordAlive, but it didn't work out too well for him (he was kicked out due to his tour schedule with Escape The Fate). Nevertheless, the groups seem to be on friendly terms with each other.
