!!The tropes in Basshunter include:

*EarlyInstallmentWeirdness:
**He originally sung all in Swedish. But this changed once he became more universally recognized when he started singing fully in English.
**His music was more simplistic and stylized like internet memes.
*GenreShift: He creates music that is Pop-sounding and has abandoned his Dance music persona.
**In “Angels Ain’t Listening” it sounds like an 80s new wave song.
*INeedAFreakingDrink: “Beer in the Bar” is about him having a drink for the sake of looking stylish while posting music for his fans online.
*MultilingualSong: He sometimes sings in Swedish and German.
*RemadeAndImproved: The songs “All I Ever Wanted” is a remake of “Dota”, and “Now You’re Gone” is an English remake of “Boten Anna”
*ShoutOut:
**The original version of “Dota” contains sound effects from the game itself.
**The song “Life Speaks to Me” appears to be a tribute to {{Music/Avicii}} in terms of musical style.
