* The April 2021 patch for ''VideoGame/{{Civilization}} VI'' added a "Pet" button to the early Scout unit to allow the unit to pet their canine companion. If you have the Scout Cat mod enabled (which replaces the dog with a cat), the option is greyed out with words saying "one does not simply pet a cat" when you hover over the option.
