* ''Film/{{Sheroes}}'': Daisy isn't out as a lesbian when the story starts, only having sex with her friend Ryder while in secret. It's not made clear why, with Daisy just claiming her life is complicated. Later though they're affectionate with each other in front of Ezra and Diamond, who realize that the two of them are a couple, which Daisy confirms (both are accepting).

* ''Film/SignatureMove'': Zaynab hasn't told her mother Parveen that she's a lesbian, with the latter still mentioning her hope she'll find a husband, when the story starts. After she starts seeing Alma, the latter is not at all happy with this, not wanting to keep secrets. She goes along with meeting Parveen as supposedly just Zaynab's friend though. Alma's unhappy once again with being asked by Parveen about them finding husbands however. She breaks up with Zaynab as a result, not wanting to go along with keeping secrets or lying about her own identity, since Alma is out to her family, refusing to get back in the closet. After seeing the two as they argue, Parveen starts to realize Zaynab is a lesbian. [[spoiler:She hasn't come out by the end, but it's strongly implied that she'll do it soon, and get back together with Alma.]]

* ''Film/RedWhiteAndRoyalBlue'': As in the book, Prince Henry is gay and is in the closet because, as Nora puts it, "princes aren't allowed to be gay." * ''Film/BlueJean'': Jean is in the closet about her lesbianism at the start of the film. It's set in 1988 England, when being out as a teacher like she is could cost Jean her job. Viv, her girlfriend, is not happy with being introduced as Jean's 'friend' to other people outside their circle. She gets alarmed when Viv calls at the school to flirt with her over the phone as well. She then finds out a student of hers, Lois, is also a closeted lesbian. Viv's not happy with her remaining closeted, saying that it sets a terrible example for students like Lois, but Jean protests she'd never work again if outed as a lesbian. Jean then goes along with a lie claiming Lois assaulted another girl by a {{forceful kiss}} (who's [[ArmouredClosetGay actually the one that initiated it]]), which she then goes along with to cover herself. [[spoiler:Viv later breaks up with her tearfully as she can't stand hiding their relationship any longer. Jean apologizes tearfully to Lois for not speaking out later.]]
