She has her popular clique, has a on and off again boyfriend who's a jock, she is a only popular student who looks down at all the scholarship students and looks down to people who are not rich.

* AbsurdlyPowerfulStudentCouncil: Mia was the president of student council in the early of the series until she quite due to personal issues. Ariana takes over the role of that matter.

* NiceMeanAndInBetween Both Oliver and Austin are nice and good guys who came from the wealth with pretty big heart, Rodney is mean, who is a classist jerk who bullies people who are plain, dorky and weaker than him, In-between for Riley is almost a jerk as Rodney, but still caring and supportive.

* ItsMyFault: Oliver feels guilty about causing a friction between Mia, Rodney and Charlotte.

* StepfordSmiler: Mia was living her best life as a rich teenager and being totally popular at school, but coming from the fact she has terrible family life, she has abandonment issues and anxiety. So, she fake smiled her away just so her friends won't think she's weak inside.

* StraighGay: Wes and later Oliver, both of the masculine characters who are gay.
