When she gets there, however, she discovers that he stowed away in her bag. Her initial reaction (as in, ''before'' she remembers that him being there could get her in trouble) is nothing short of thrilled.

Despite not speaking their language or understanding his people's customs, she ends up forming a strong relationship with both he and his tribe. Bonus points for how he gifts her with a tribal skirt and she gifts him with her watch as a memento. He even learns how to drive the Comvo-Con to save her. TruthInTelevision, as it's known people can communicate with others even with a significant language barrier.

* in ''Nigel Knows Best'' Nigel keeping Eliza from freezing to death through sheer badassery. To elaborate, Eliza foolishly thought she could scale a mountain on her own and sneaks away from Nigel, but a sudden blizzard kicked in, and the lack of oxygen made it imminent for her to pass out. Nigel finds her, kept her from freezing by sharing his snow coat with her and the Llama with them. He then builds an ice fort with nothing but a shovel and started a fire to keep them warm. That's he they survived the blizzard.

* The ending. ** A small one but as soon as Debbie realises Eliza's seriously ill, she stops complaining, insists on coming with them and even has her arm around Eliza at one point.

* In "Operation Valentine", it is ''Donnie'' who runs across the Australian outback by himself (with an eagle chasing him) to find Nigel and lead him to Eliza, who is suffering from acute appendicitis.

* An episode had Nigel delirious from a stonefish sting waiting for Eliza to return with antitoxin. In his delirium, he mistakes a passing catlike creature for his wife, picks it up and tells it how much he loves it and the children -- then kisses it. Supposed to be funny, but it becomes more of an "Aaawww..." moment when you realize that he knows these could be his last moments and his thoughts turn to her.
