* Apparently the reason why Gregson has Madame Rosie is because the parakeet was living with the pigeons in Stronghart's office and Stronghart noticed that the pigeons were picking on her. When Madame Rosie returned, Gregson mentions that Stronghart hopes she's getting along with them now. Given [[spoiler: the revelations in ''Resolve'']] it's nice to see him do something kind even for a little bird. Gregson is also happy to see Madame Rosie flying with the pigeons at the end of the episode.

* Ryunosuke and Susato's [[BigDamnReunion grand reunion]] at the climax of the first day of trial. Crosses into [[Funny/TheGreatAceAttorney funny]] when the very first thing she does is perform a Susato takedown on him. At first impression, it just seems like her way of saying GetAHoldOfYourselfMan but, after court is adjourned, an embarrassed Susato admits the real reason she tossed him was because she felt so overwhelmed with happiness at being reunited that she didn't know how else to [[AttackHello express herself]].

* Barok van Zieks starts off the trial completely contemptuous and dismissive of Ryunosuke's capabilities as a lawyer but as things progress you can see his opinion subtly changing once the true depth of Ryunosuke's integrity becomes apparent as he repeatedly throws away easy (but dishonest) opportunities to win over the jury in favor of finding the truth. At first Barok is almost disbelieving that the defense is actively undermining their own case, but by the end, though he's nowhere near what you could call friendly, he's actively calling on Ryunosuke in support to point out the ever-growing inconsistencies that are appearing in the Omnibus, even shouting down [=McGilded=] when he starts trying to threaten Ryunosuke into silence.

Ryunosuke Naruhodo is not one to hold grudges against other people even if they were racist against him. Ryunosuke is for finding the truth, not holding grudges. Ryunosuke defending Barok van Zieks in court likely saved Barok van Zieks from being hanged since no other lawyer wanted to defend Barok van van Zieks. And any other lawyer who is NOT Ryunosuke Naruhodo that gets appointed to represent Barok Van Zieks would probably fail miserably.
